What are peeps thoughts on birchal this week? is sydney likely to tag him?

Ricochet

Bolton tagged him in the GF and did well on him so I would expect similar

rider

Thats right good point. Any idea on Burgoynes numbers in the GF?

Toga

Yeah I expect Birchall to have another quieter game, Sydney shut him down well last year, you'd think they'll do the same again.

Burgoyne had 100 DT

All scores can be found here: http://www.fanfooty.com.au/game/matchscores.html?id=4208

Ricochet

21 touches, 10 tackles, 100 DT points

I'd expect Birch to score better this time around. I think Clarko will coach the tag a little better, in the GF he let Birchall get dragged to the last line of defence far to much. I'd be looking at Birch getting rotated through the middle or wings if he gets another forward tag. Clarko learnt all to well how much our run gets shut down if Birch doesn't have it in his hands for large portions of the game.

Fingers crossed anyhow, I brought him in last week  ::)

Toga

Haha, I'm hoping for a tag so I can get him in in two/three weeks time :P

Exactly what I planned to do, I had him penciled down for a sub 100 score against the Crows and Swans and a nice little price drop to follow. Bring him in after the game against GWS and I was a genius. Now I picked him up at top dollar, will get his cruddy scores and knowing my luck he will probably be rested for 1 or 2 of the games against GWS, GC and Melbourne.

Lesson learned: Do not buy into silly hype and get greedy for the sake of having cash in the bank.  >:(

Also our backline doesn't have Shaw, LRT or Alex Johnson. They don't have Rioli, we have McGlynn. Things will be very different.

Lets hope he doesn't break 100 but doesn't get a score that will put us off. I'm hoping for a 70-75 from him :)

You guys are all selfish spare a thought for the nooblets who brought him in last week  :-[. Go 140+ Birch and make me proud!  8)

Money

Averages 68 against them, his worst team to play with a BE of 183, going to be cheap as chips soon  ;D
