The Crows recieved 2 apologies from Gieschem today, how in the hell does that help Jeff? Not saying it cost u guys the game,(may of, who knows) but didn't help u win it either. I know the umps have got a tough gig, but a few games lately have been influenced by some iffy calls ( i'm still getting over 38--15 free kick count ). Other supporters will say get over it, but 3-3, rather than 2-4, makes final easier to get to you would think. Ps not having a go at the Hawks or Roos, as it wasn't them making the calls, but it does get frustrating on the wrong end. Yes i realise it's been happening for over a 100 years but still gets under my skin lol

Yeah i know PB, but the bad ones seem to be at critical parts of the game, I reckon pick 3 ex amature players from the crowd. It works at my lads soccer, the game flows, albeit a few injuries here and there lol

Not trying to be cynical here, but what else are they going to talk about?

I mean good calls influence the game as much as bad calls but considering there are less bad calls that's where the point of comparison is.

Because they are professional umpires, they all probably have a high standard of good decision making, so it comes down to the type of errors they make that is used in judgement

At least Jeff actually admitted an error in umpiring this week instead of just agreeing with every decision. Ever.

An error that the whole of Australia knew was an Error. Him admitting it was a free does nothing for us, just undermines the umpires working for him and makes them feel like garbage. However i'm far from siding with the umpires, they should pay what's obvious, do what they need to do to get the job done and thats all! I'm sick of umpires trying to take control of the game, that's what the players are for  ???
