Guys what are you thoughts on Garrick Ibbotson???

Average of 99 in first two games good upgrade for Stevenson with an appealing BE 22

turry17

Probably not, way better options out there

henry

Yeah was considering for a moment but don't think he will be a top 8 defender, can't trust lyon also.

Who would you suggest???
Well we need more imformation mate, how much cash do you have to spend, who are your other defenders?

John62

Yeah sorry guys that would help a lil....

I have $780k sitting there to be used

Was looking at someone to upgrade but still trying and make some $$$$

redevilfc

780k :o and ur thinking ibbo wtf ???
heater
birchall
the pick is urs of any defender u want

John62

Yeah I was thinking that... But didn't know if they would continue to lower in price

redevilfc

heaters BE is 45 so there wud be ur pick if ur picking premiums on making money

Adamant

Which does your current backline look like? because there are much better options than Shaw as well...

John62

Backline is as follows

Goddard Heppel Hartlett Heath Pittard Vlaustin (Goodes Frost)

Adamant

Gibbs and Birch are the obvious guys, but one is injured and the other has a massive B/E.

I'd go for Scotland. The guy is ultra consistent every year and is reasonably priced. Should be a top 6 defender.

John62

Had Gibbs traded him when injured... Will trade him back once price lowers

Thanks for all the feedback guys

Where is ibbotz playing in the Lyon system?
If down back I remember a few saints def doing well with Lyon Gilbert and fisher, worth a thought

Andrew

Scotland is at $460k at the moment... not picking him up this week or next & getting Ibbotson would be as criminal as his actions in the pub last year.

If you still want an Ibbotson-like player, I'd probably go McKenzie over him.

But with that much money, take your pick!

Birchall would be nice, but he'd drop and be ripe in a couple of weeks.

Scotland's your man, has a favourable draw and isn't too expsensive.
If you're looking for other options there's also Hanley or Shaw.
