Bumping this thread...
Whats the thought on leaving Thomas til next week?
Assistant Coach has him getting 80 this week (pretty accurate considering I think he will cop a DeBoer trade this week)
That will only increase his price by $5k....
That's my plan, he could get a deboer tag or a mzungu tag as I dont think freo will accept someone run around backline free again ala birchall round 4. thinking he could get 70-90 this week

tbagrocks

Guy's mature and fit enough, I expext top 4 forward scores from here on, so at the price, is a must :o

Well this is my plan!

I'm not so sure guys. Might come back to bite me, but I'll be giving him a miss. Sammy Mayes is doing a good enough job for me at F6 so will last me until the byes before I do my final forward upgrade.

Daisy had a subbed game, two poor scores, and a terrific score playing HBF. Bucks has already said that he's not gonna be playing that role every week, and even if he does he is such a classy player I think he would start copping tags. If he's not gonna play half back, then in the mids? Ball and Beams to come back in the next fortnight, will there be room in the middle?

I'm not convinced he will be playing a fantasy-friendly role tbh, and might get parked up forwards a bit... So gonna give him a miss. :-X

Agree with Toga. Not the lock everyone thinks he is. SJ>Daisy

You make a good point, however I'm still jumping on, and after this my forward line will be complete basically, so I can focus on my backs and mids. IMO Thomas will be in the top 6 forwards (by average) at the end of the year. His scores have been 77 (solid in a first game back from injury), 35 (no problem as he was the sub - the score that actually brought his price down), 65 (decent but not great) and 121 (great against not brilliant opposition in St Kilda).

By the same logic you should be looking to get in Dangerfield. Some half decent scores and then one good score. Neither's forms have been confidence inspiring. Wait and see if it was a fluke one off game or if it is what you can consistently expect from him. If Daisy comes out with a 70-80 this week, I think there are better options out there.

its me lads

Starting to have second thoughts as well. As Calvin highlighted he had 34 touches with 28 being uncontested, should cop a tag. Averaged 93 last year and 102 in 2011, potential is definately there. I think it might be more important for me to upgrade down back first, maybe Westhodd-->Kerridge and Stevenson/Pittard--> Scotland/Hanley/Someone.

Just had a flick through his stats, 34 disposals is his highest ever number, got it twice.

Adamant

I'm not on board the Daisy bandwagon. :P

If your not jumping on the Daisy train are you jumping on the Grey train?

I want to cut wines and dywer but I don't know who to get in as I'm just off SJ

You're off SJ? Why is that?

Artax

I've gone Hoff/Dwyer to SJ/Daisy

Hoff/Dwyer too risky to keep

Adamant

I'm not getting in Daisy or Gray. Neither will be top 6 forwards.

But Gray doesn't need to be, should go along at 80+ and at some point hopefully touch $400k so your getting cash cow + points. Gray then magically turns into an uber premo at the right time. Also removes an annoying Neade v Caff headache!

I was off Gray at the start of the week but the numbers make sense and he's in for me.
