Hey guys, I just traded Sam Dwyer to Dale Thomas and I'm not sure whether to put him in my forward line or midfield (he's currently in my midfield).

Here's my midfield and forward line without him in it...

Midfield: D. Swan, G. Ablett, S. Pendlebury, B. Deledio, J. Kennedy, O. Wines, M. Jones, M. Evans (L. Whitfield, S. Dwyer)

Forwards: S. Johnson, T. Rockliff, D. Martin, J. Bartel, J. Kennedy, S. Mayes (B. Macaffer, S. Rowe)

Any advice/comments/feedback would be greatly appreciated :)

I would probably play him in the midfield for now with Evans the weakest starter in your 2 lines, but I would definitely get him in the forward line later in the year!
Maybe even use the DPP link between Thomas and Mayes so Mayes is in your Mids and Thomas in your Fwds!  :)

This. Daisy looks so much better in the forward line. ;)

your forward line and midfield look scary enough... perhaps give us all a chance and don't bring daisy in at all  ::)

Wait you don't have Jaeger?!

Besides that our teams are scarily similar! (expect I have Robinson instead of Bartel)

+1

Your forward line is very solid, and its a case of Evans/Mayes/Daisy and Jones.
I would bench Evans any day of the week, so play him in the mids

Doesn't really matter though, you could swap any time, just make sure he ends up in your fwds, so you can get GUN mids!

Thanks for this, now I'm going Evans/Jones against GC and benching Mayes against WC.

Bumping this thread...
Whats the thought on leaving Thomas til next week?
Assistant Coach has him getting 80 this week (pretty accurate considering I think he will cop a DeBoer trade this week)
That will only increase his price by $5k....
