NORTH Melbourne ruckman Daniel Currie's bid to make his AFL debut has been put on hold for about six weeks after he underwent surgery on his left thumb on Monday.

Yep not good for him, to be honest he was probably still a while away. Similar situation to Tom Curran, these injuries set back development a little. Less of an issue for Currie he'd be mostly developed at his age but still trying to find his way at the club this doesn't help.
