I doubt Vlastuin will be and if Saunders does he will get the bench spot

I've done Goodes-->Vlaustin and --> Fyfe-->Hartlett by subbing Gibbs into the middle. I didn't want to trade either premo defender either so i'm holding both. Fielding 4 DEF rookies. No cover Mid or Back.  ???

When Gibbs/Goodes comes back, I'll have a pretty solid backline, with just 2 rookies to fill onfield(one being Goodes)

benching both Gibbs and Heppell as well. Have 3 rookie defenders. Haven't traded a premium player and the 3 rookies haven't peaked

Have same rookies. When Gibbs and Heppell come back only need to upgrade one one rookie defender. I upgraded Goodes to Hartlett.

I have seen so many different trades.
People are benchiing premo defenders and backing their rookies.
People are downgarding one premo defender and upgrading a rookie defender
People are sideway trading their premo defenders.
People are sideway trading one premo defender and upgrading a rookie
People are trading a midfielder to a defender and switching them to their backline via DPP in combination with an upgrade/downgrade

This round looks very crucial.
I hope backing my defender rookies is the correct option. I hope I don't slip down too far in the rankings, I look to be in a good position in the next few weeks when Heppell and Gibbs come back, my rookies have peaked and jump on the underpriced premos.

I agree. Everyone's going a different way with it....makes things very interesting. A lot of teams have looked very similar before this round, there will be a lot more variation in the comp now. Just got to hope you made the right decisions

I agree. Everyone's going a different way with it....makes things very interesting. A lot of teams have looked very similar before this round, there will be a lot more variation in the comp now. Just got to hope you made the right decisions

Well said. It's now not just a case of having 2 trades per week and by seasons end most teams will be very similar. It is now how how those trades are used in rounds likes this!
