Operation AVOID DONUTS.  >:(

Need to trade Goodes, Pittard, Heppell or Gibbs, not sure who. Probably keep Heppell though. Gibbs as well probably.

Fyfe and Crouch in midfield so no cover.

Westhoff up front.
How much money in the bank??

Is it possible to go Goodes ---> Hamish Hartlett
and downgrade Pittard to Vlastiun?

Most people will have at least 2 or 3 of the players you named, so everyone this week will be copping a donut or playing a lot of rooks in defence. Personally i'll be keeping Gibbs, Heppell and Goodes and trading Pittard. Sideways trading might keep your ranking up but it isnt improving your team

anyone looked at nathan wright from stkilda, is 134k be of 14 and price rise of S13500 is cheaper than vlastuin, maby a better option to make a bit of cash instead of nothing.

I was thinking about his team mate J. Saunders. Was the sub last week and scored 38

If he is not the sub i might trade Pittard to him and we will know if he is the sub because he plays friday

Surely Heppell is actually just being "rested," playing GWS this week so as good a time as any to give him a week off. I'll keep him. Gibbs got listed as 1-2 weeks on the AFL injury list and has a high breakeven, he's still in the gun for mine.

So then it comes down to which one of Goodes & Pittard for me to ditch to avoid a doughnut. I'm thinking Pittard's 28 counts too strongly against him, added with the fact the coach is constantly saying to the media "he has history with injuries" he could be a nightmare to hold despite having a 90-odd in his last game. So Pittard & Gibbs out for me, even though Goodes is the only player for sure we know will miss 2 matches...

I'm stuck with the hoff  :-[

This is why I don't like getting suspect players purely because of the cash they will make..... :-\

Lesson 100% learned. I won't be doing a move like that for the rest of the season. But hey, carrying him this week could end up being the right call... just not what we had planned! :P

I've got all those 4 but luckily I've found a way to still get rid of Westhoff and avoid a donut. Gibbs --> Scotland, Westhoff --> Hartlett (Mayes into fwds and Goodes into mids). Sucks that I now get none of my upgrade targets this week (Watson/Stevie J) but at least I'm not eating a donut.

Pls explain? Does this only work if you already have a working DPP link between your DEFs and MIDs?

I didn't have any link between DEFs and MIDs but I do now. Here's what I did. Trade Westhoff out and DPP Mayes from mid to fwd (leaving a space in mids). Then bring in Scotland in mids. Then trade Gibbs for Hartlett, then swap Goodes with Scotland, leaving Scotland in the backline and Goodes on mid bench. I did lose my MID-FWD DPP though.

Ah I already have Mayes in my FWDs with no existing link between my MIDs and FWDs... Don't think this will work for me :(

ye if you have a mid/forward in mids then we can do some DPP magic with the hoff... 8)
