I'd do Goodes to Hartlett (unless you're content on keeping Goodes), then Hoff to SJ.

think about it, everyone will be struggling to provide backline bench cover this week, let alone fielding a team! you're in a pretty good position, nice team! :)

after much thought and reading I think the best course of action is to unfortunatly keep the hoff and kinda miss out on SJ for the time being....due to all the back pain we are all feeling :(

i have gone goodes > laird and pittard > hartlett......getting a classical up/down grade, improving structure and getting an xtra premo :)

Yep I've been tossing up between Watson and SJ all week but finally decided on SJ, just because Watson will still be gettable nek week for Moloney whereas Stevie will be out of reach.

and even if heath/stevo are named can very well be late outs :/


....safe option is to keep hoff and trade 2 non playing defenders i reckon...

Well I hate the idea of burning two trades in my backline, unless I really need it to avoid a donut. Also I am hating looking at my fwds and seeing Westhoff sitting there like a big turkey. If he was a Stevie J my team would look so much better! I'd say that if you need to cover a donut then use the two trades down back, otherwise get Westhoff out since you only got him for the cash anyway and you're about to lose a big chunk of it (if you keep him). I don't really mind about missing a rookie this week because I'll get one next week and I've got Kommer coming back too (hopefully).

Agree that it's the safe option but I think I'm gonna take the risk this week. Most of my other trades have been super safe and pretty vanilla so I need a risky move to pay off and lift my ranking.

same situation as me, it sucks but you have better cover in terlich so i'd prob go Gibbs - Hartlett/Birchall & Hoff - SJ then next week you can bring in Vlastuin for some cash and make another upgrade :)

hmm i don't think there's much more you really can do :/ the trades you have done are prob as good as it's gonna get, im in the same situation think im gonna have to hold the hoff for another week and hope he doesn't bleed too much cash

Westhoff + Goodes to Watson + Laird = 403800

Westhoff + Goodes to Stevie + Laird

Westhoff + Gibbs to Birchall + Stevie = 179700

Westhoff + Gibbs to Birchall + Watson = 162700

Westhoff + Gibbs to Watson + Hartlett = 231300

Westhoff + Gibbs to Stevie + Hartlett = 248300

Number is how much I'd have after the trade (yes I probably spend too much time on DT)

I wrote this on another thread but it basically sums up my opinion on Gibbs vs Goodes:

Even if Gibbs comes back next week, he'll drop a fair bit and then you can pick him up cheap the week after. If he doesn't come back (more likely IMO), then you haven't wasted the 450k by putting it on the bench.
