May Drop this season

Stanton:
My Prediction (honestly) 105-108 but potentially 115+
Would remove the tension each week when I watch him and Watson compete and hope Watson wins (instead I'll be cheering and encouraging (It's like having Rockliff and not Redden in 2011 and 2012)
Inconsistent and always starts the season terrifically and then screws up
Could prove to be a superstar this year 

I really want to hear Jukes argument for Stanton as well, that should help a lot.

I'll be obviously getting him after his first price drop (he is worth $600k though), he may take the M6 spot in my team easily as Stanton's price may sky rocket against the GWS

surely you would tag stanton? just because he's more dangerous in space a bit like delidio and cotchin. jobe and cotchin can get the good hard contested handballs where stants and lids can be negated by a good tag (ie. stants last year and delidio vs crowley)

*Has beaten the Crowley tag to score 109 (not that huge, but was the highest score on the ground), has also been tagged a bit in other matches but beaten it.
*Has scored well against teams with great midfields so far; dockers (109 vs Fyfe, Mundy, Barlow), Adelaide (115 vs Danger, Thompson, Douglas) and, biggest of all, Collingwood (114 vs Swan, Pendles, Sidebottom, Thomas)
*Very consistent- lowest score for the season has been 109, and he top scored for the match!
*Huge ceiling- as seen by that 193, the 175 vs Carlton, the 154 vs NM, all within 6 weeks
*Assistant Coach projected scores for the rest of the season: 122, 118, 133, 119, 119, 125, 122, 120, 122, 127, 122, 120, 123, 117, 118, 126, 124, 124, 123, 117. Beastly.

As I said in my pm to psk, would go with Stants 100%. The only reason to not go Stants is if your bias impacts your vision *cough cough* tbag *cough cough*

Holy Crap, I know Assistant coach isn't 100% accurate but that is incredible, I'm going to calculate what his finishing average will be right now! :)

Stanton also gets a lot of his touches by foot, haha and that means he maximizes his scoring potential by not doing 2 point hand balls :). Boyd should drop in price and make a nice upgrade target for O'Meara is the coming weeks. I think atm the though I can't tell what exactly Boyd will score and Wines-> Stanton seems a lot more effective. Especially the fact I'll have Goddard, Heppell, Watson & Stanton all in my side :) Essendon are turning into the dream team equivalent of what Geelong, St Kilda and Collingwood used to be :)
