Blockbuster Trading Plan?

I was against trading Gibbs. Put playing around the my potential trade options I feel this is a solid bet:

This Week:

Moloney->Laird & Gibbs->Stanton + $210,400  :o

I get the 2nd best option in DT so far.

Swan, Ablett, Pendlebury, Stanton, Selwood, Redden, Wines & O'Meara

I keep Goodes around for a few weeks or trade him nek week.

Reason is that I'm getting points & money. If I keep Gibbs, I'm not getting his points & not making any more from him.

Nek Week:

Stevenson->Vlastuin & Pittard/Heath->Birchall

I get the number 1 option down back so far.

Plays Crows, then faces Swans....The the awesome run of Suns, GWS & Dees. Perfect time to get on and you won't crying about not having Gibbs.  :P

Keep Goodes.

Week After:

Wines->Lonergan & Heath->Gibbs (after a few price falls)

Goddard, Hartlett, Birchall, Gibbs, Goodes & Terlich (Vlastuin & Laird)

OR, get another premo mid. Will see.  :)



Couple that with the fact that I have LeCras at F5, things will be hopefully looking good.  :)

Haha, and thing is a can/might trade Wines->Cotchin straight up next week & get Birchall the week..But would leave my backs terribly weak.

Will Laird play for much longer? What's his JS like?

Not sure on Rory, but he seems the only viable option this week. Reckon Sando would love him, a good hard player who is a tackling demon. His tackling should see him have a semi decent output you'd think, coupled with a few touches shouldbe okay, short term anyway.  :-\

As for some more rookies, what about the saints cheapies Saunders and Murdoch. I dont know much about their JS but just throwing it out their for more options as we will know the subs for them.

2 things:
1. Have you got Buddy? Kinda need him in 3 rounds time as he's draw opens up (same with Birchal)
2. Have you considered getting in Heath Scotland now instead? Just considering he play's Melbourne this week and has an easy few weeks after that too.

Have to realise that some nonsense will come up in the next 3 weeks that may force your hand. Are you comfortable with not being able to get Gibbs back due to unforeseen circumstances?

Dont forget about R.Gray in 2 weeks time. Should be around 230k, and a pretty much assured 130k price rise there. I'll be getting him in for Neade/Dwyer next week if he gets over 80 and isn't the sub.

Looked promising on the quarter he played on the weekend.

Good options btw though.

Next week: Blicavs -> Gawn & Neade -> Gray ~ leaving me with around 450k in the bank

This is exactly why I'm not trading him out... There's so many things I've planned to do trade-wise this season already, only for injuries/suspensions/other bullshower just to screw my plans over...

Alternatively I can trade a fwd cow to a rookie on the go. But we will see.

That's fair enough, but I get Stanton Vs GWS. Surely this will heavily compensate not having him. But then again, I know can't trust the flower.... :P
