lt was just on 9 news that Mitch Clark is to have surgery to remove a screw from his foot, and will be out for about 8 weeks. Big Maxy should have some decent JS now :)

Drives me nuts, would liked to of done this trade but with Gibbs and Goodes missing i may have to do other things instead.

its me lads

Why did he put a screw in his foot  ;D  :P

If i had no problems i would probably do it but I've got things to fix and prepare for.

As long as Blicavs is playing i'm happy.

glynman

I'd love to bring him in for Blicavs this week but I'd have to keep Westhoff.

Jukes

Gotta fix my Westhoff and backline holes before my ruck reserve hole :/

Jormas

Personally, im going:

Blicavs -> Gawn
Westhoff -> SJ this week

I will sit Gibbs and Goodes on the bench as i have Laird and Terlich as cover.

Will keep them through the thick as Goodes' BE is still very low and he wont get culled till he gets to 320k (2-3 more games)

Next week i'll go Frost -> Vlastuin and Viney -> Watson (hopefully Viney plays this week; makes me around 20-30k); i currently have 350k in the bank.

Toga

Yeah this guy's stocks are rising by the day.

Really want him but it might mean I can't get Murphy/Jobe this week which would be a bummer :(

Jobe has a reasonable BE (~110) and even though it's GWS, he still won't increase that much this round (predicting around a 115 personally, or 540k next week's value)
i'd make other trades first, and then even Lids/Cotch come into calculation next week

is this jack or sam frost? because if it's either you don't have bench cover in your backs mate

Goodes and Gibbs go to the bench Terlich and Laird play on field and you're still left with a doughnut from Frost. I think the doughnut will screw you over more than missing out on Gawn...

Toga

I got lids & cotch already :P

But yeah midfield premos shouldn't be rising too much in price, and if I wait to next week I could/should probably get Andy Swallow at a decent price, which will be good for my team byes-wise.

BUT Watto's up against poor opposition this week and should tear up, so missing out points-wise.

Screech

if i go westhoff>gawn & gibbs>laird, that leaves me with $850k in the bank....too much?

Andrew

For those with Westhoff... Wouldn't a good trade be flicking Cox into your forward line when selling Westhoff, then bring in Gawn? That's what I'm doing with Rowe, who's on my ruck bench. Weakens the forward line, but I'm strengthening it with my other trade (Gibbs -> Stevie J via DPP).

I think Gawn is a must have for what it's worth, should hit $250k no sweat but potential for even better.

l'm leaning towards Gibbs >> Laird and Blicavs >> Gawn at the moment which will leave me with $400k in the kitty.

Wanted to start the big man r3 has lots of potential but was not named round 1 so went currie then rowe instead. Will have to see if  pittard and stevenson are named first.

Do you guys reckon pittard/stevo to laird or blicavs/rowe to gawn would be the better trade?
