New board: Matchday

Following the trend from the DT P&T board, I have established a new Matchday board as a child of the Fantasy news board. Like FN, threads will only be able to be started by mods. I will endeavour to get this done on Thursday nights after teams, one thread for each game. I will also make a weekly thread for late outs and subs in that board, as those threads are also clogging up P&T.

Mods will be encouraged to shift all discussion on teams and in-game chat to these boards. I realise P&T has been getting a bit crowded, hopefully this will free it up to return to discussion about midweek trades.

Great work Monty - But just wondering whether some other than coaches can start the thread.  Alternatively set up the 9 games each week as Topic so we can discuss.  Personally have not used it before but looks good going by the posts there.

Those Match Day Discussion threads have been pretty consistently posted in the Players & Trades DT by Mr Craig (good job 8)) so I guess most of you SCers wouldn't have seen them... But they are good to discuss the matches both fantasy-wise and game-wise :)

Think it should work nicely just having moderators being able to start threads as it will mean there won't be two threads for every possession that is gotten in the game :P

Hey mOnty just wondering if you could post about the match day boards in the SC P&T boards.
People there don't seem to know about them and keep posting about subs etc in there
And when you tell them about it they get showerty
