Round 6 Discussion

Big game against the undefeated Cats.
Who comes in? Who goes out?

Chaplin, King, Tuck and Morris should all come back into the team.

Some of our younger players are playing well in the VFL.

Matt Arnot
Had another really good game.  Picked up 28 possessions (including eight clearances and seven inside-50s) and provided plenty of run and carry.  Also was very hard around the stoppages.

David Astbury
Played an important role across half-back, in his second game back from injury.  Was third man in for most of the match, took quite a few chop-out marks, and used the ball well offensively.

Ben Darrou
Again was terrific down back, limiting the influence of talented Hawthorn-listed forward Sam Grimley, and gathering 27 possessions himself.   His decision-making with the ball was a real highlight.

Surely a few guys are on the chopping block? Nahas, maybe Helbig.

Stevie Morris should come straight in, you'd think Chaplin would too. Push-Up's quite handy up forward and Tucky is usually great. It's quite hard to say really...

Really hoping Ricky doesn't get the axe.  :(

King in for Nahas.
Maybe Chaplin for Batchelor.

If stays out Eliis or Vlas may be the sub.

From the sound of things, Az Edwards is tearing up the VFL, will be interesting to see when he finally gets a game.

I would really like to see Aaron Edwards get a game. Has kicked 5+ goals for Coburg for the last few weeks iirc!

Will be interesting to see who comes in and who goes out of the team... I think Vlas would've impressed Dimma with his first half but his second half wasn't fantastic :-[

Still, that tackling pressure is what we needed this week and he stuck some rippers! 8)

Yeah, Vlas was barely sighted in the second half and did get a bit lost I think. Dusty didn't though so I suppose somebody had to... ::) :P

Can Matt Arnot get a game? Yet another 25 possessions and more clearances. Machine. If he works on his ball use he could seriously be an amazing player.

Yeah DE probably isn't high enough atm but he could in a couple of years time after Tucky's retired... Still developing his skills as a player but I think he should be given a chance at some point in the next few years! :)
