He's out for two. All over Twitter.

He'll be gone for two now unless the jury finds "exceptional and compelling circumstances" to reduce the charge... Would need to reduce the charge by 60 points if it is going to remain at one match.

jamfrank

It's a trade I didn't want to have to waste at this point. With my backline problems, I don't think I can even do it this week.

nostradamus

lt was silly to appeal in the first place. While l agree there wasn't alot in the incident, there weren't any legitimate grounds to dispute it.
Freo should have just copped it on the chin and accepted the 1 week penalty

Grazz

Toga

No compelling or exceptional circumstances to have the points downgraded, charge remains at 250 points, and a two match suspension.

You're right. Given the risk that he would miss the collingwood game at home, it was never worth it. Fyfe must have truly believed it was not intentional, or at least appeared as if he did.

I agree mate, didn't need him for GC game but they need him for the Pies, but in their defence they have to support their player if he believes he's not guilty. Two weeks for it seems excesive though. I hope it wakes the umps up and they start looking out for players sitting on others ala Matner on StevieJ the week before. Dont think its rife but needs to be watched closer.

I thought you would've challenged because you guys were confident as you should've just accepted the one.

its me lads

Your Kidding me.  :(

Will probably trade him now.  >:(

Looks like Westhoff is staying.

Now to trade Goodes or Gibs  ???

jamfrank

I'm faced with the same dilemma. I really don't want to keep Westhoff though so I may bench Fyfe this round.

Clyde Frog

I guess he wanted to win the Brownlow.

Looks like Westhoff can stay and I can trade Fyfe to Watson.
You never know, Westhoff might of had a one off bad game.
