Hey NBA fans. This is the thread that will be used for the Retired + Current NBA Draft run by Jayman 8). We will conduct the drafting and judging process here and hopefully everyone stays committed and we can enjoy a fun draft.

This draft will require some seriouos thinking and strategy to build your perfect team so if you don't know a huge deal about the NBA maybe look for a quality assistant to help you or start doing some research :P

Once we get the required amount of participants drafting will begin, hopefully at the conclusion of the Youth Draft currently running.

So please let me know if you're interested and I can pencil you down for a team. But I can not stress this enough... please only enter if you have the time to. We don't want this draft going forever because someone takes a week to pick ;D

RULES

• You must select 5 retired players and 5 current players to build your squad of 10
• When picking your player, specify whether he is current or retired
• When picking your player, specify which year of his career you choose - in most cases you should pick the season where his statistics suit your team, this is where strategy becomes involved
• You can change your pick up until the person after you picks
• Please Private Message the person with the pick after yours to keep the draft flowing
• Strictly do not mention an un-picked player
• Draft for a single season, this is not a dynasty

Yep 6 retired, 4 current and you get to pick what year was their 'prime'.

Instead of year, could we pick an "era" instead... Eg Shaq Orlando, Lakers etc? Or do we have to say 2000-2001?
