Not worth the 50% of a successful loophole IMO.

Looking at trading him to be honest. Will sit tight though as no real relevant rooks from Swans, Saints, Bombers or Pies (right?).

Well there's Murdoch and Saunders plus Rampe is on the bubble but no, not really.
Evans is the No.1 bubble boy this week though, isn't he? Mayes is a bit pricey for an early season downgrade at 150k, if it was mid/late season he would be a great option.

l've gone for Mayes over Evans, because l rate his JS higher and am a bit concerned about Evan's scoring. He didnt score much in his 1st game and last week most of his points came in the last qtr avalanche against GWS.
Who'd you downgrade to Mayes? Like I said, someone like Viney or Crouch aren't really expensive enough to downgrade to him...

Hagebear

Why not downgrade to Mayes, take the 20k, then take Mayes's 60 odd k he makes while Crouch is out, then downgrade back to Crouch when he's back? Trades aren't really an issue anymore and now gererating as much cash as possible is key.

Crouch Close

Brad Crouch is set to make his return from a hamstring strain this weekend, probably through the SANFL.

The 19-year-old midfielder has missed three AFL games since he was injured at training a few days after he played for the Crows in their win over the Western Bulldogs at AAMI Stadium in round four.

Coach Brenton Sanderson last week said Crouch was likely to play with West Adelaide this Friday night in the SANFL.

Rookie Tim McIntyre (calf) will also be available for his SANFL club Sturt.

Ricky Henderson, who pulled out of the game against Hawthorn with a sore calf, was a travelling emergency for the Crows in Sydney on the weekend.

Adelaide has a light open football session on Max Basheer Reserve from 10am on Tuesday (May 14). There is also a light open session on Saturday, from about 10.30am, on AAMI Stadium.

its me lads

Crows reveal they wouldn't mind seeing Crouch at West for one more week. Didn't rule him out but doesn't sound promising. But back for Byes!

I guess I prefer him being in the reserves for 1 more week if it gets him more match fitness and avoids being the sub :P

elephants

Not listed as an out for West Adelaide... Might mean another week in the SANFL!
