Mayes v Evans

May as well just make this topic seeing as most people will be weighing it up (I can already see it happening in their individual threads). Who would/will you be picking?

For me, Mayes. I think Evans looked better than he is due the the fact Melbourne actually won a game (and convincingly). Mayes scored a 75 in a side that was comprehensively outplayed so I can see his scoring being higher and more consistent than Evans.

Only thing making me hesitate is Mayes inflated Price tag, If I got to do an upgrade in like 2 weeks time and I am 20k short I will be ropeable :P

What about voss's record with rookies? Surely the voss risk has to edge mayes out

What about Evans v Crouch, for those who missed out on Crouch? He still looks to have a $100k plus price rise from here, then again he's only gone higher than 60 against the Bulldogs. Same argument can be made for Evans though who was only on 51 v GWS.

Rookies need to be picked up now I'm not sure how many we'll have after this week.
