If Sam Mayes pumps out a 80-90 odd today, we will all want to jump on him next week when he is on the bubble.

But what rookie do we axe in order to get him in? (All my rookies are playing, I don't have Kommer or Mitchell)

Job Security: Port are pretty much at full strenght and Neade is still holding his spot in the 22, scored 53 even though he was subbed off. I would not expect him to get dropped anytime soon.

Job Security: Only got a game yesterday because of a late withdrawal. Beams, Ball, Didak, and co still to come back for the Pies, Buckley might make the decision for us.

Dwyer Price $196,700
BE -40
Job Security: Lots to come back for the Pies but if he continues contributing like he is will likely hold his spot.


At this point I am thinking Macaffer, with limited trades you would hold, but with the new trade system you can always get him back later if his form improves.

I've got Pittard/Stevenson and Macaffer to cull. Not sure which will be downgraded and which will be upgraded though!

Thinking Macaffer -> Mayes and Stevenson -> Birchall atm but that might change...

Don't forget Viney. It's between him and Caff for me. Putting Mayes in the mids allows me to sub him around with Rockliff/Dusty and Neade which should help in some games and especially for upgrades with Neade set to soon become ripe I'd rather try and bring in a premium midfielder than a premium forward

Yep, I rekon Viney's made the decision for me. That or Neade, but I think I'll wait a week on him.

Take Viney out sub Mayes around with Neade/Dwyer. Neade/Dwyer becomes my emergency in the midfield and Mayes becomes a F6. I'm starting to go off Mayes now, hopefully his second half is better
