Who do you rate as the biggest spuds on the Crows list?

Tambling is up there
Also not a fan of Angus Graham but he's probably only there is Sauce goes down.

Tom Lynch seems like a slight Potato, although i'll still give him some time.

No idea why Shaun 'Baked Potato' Mckernan is in the AFL system, he would struggle for a game at GWS.

Not necessarily a sud but i'm not sure if Petrenko is playing the right role.

PowerBug

Aren't they all spuds?

Seriously though, McKernan takes the golden potato on this one.
Leader of the King Karl Amon fan club
Coach of WXV side Rio De Janeiro Jaguars
2023 SC: Rank 126

Jay

Never been a Matty Jaensch fan.

For when he was drafted, Tambling takes the cake though.

Noz

Nathan Van Berlo is the biggest spud captain in the AFL.

Tambling gets the nod though.

This thread should be merged (not sure why another was created??)

When you watch McKernan at SANFL level you can see he knows where to position himself from his AFL training, but the problem is when is elevated to AFL status he only runs into those positions in straight lines and as directed. He has no game flair or natural feel for the game. Even his set ups at south Adelaide are linear, there is nothing about his game that the opposition needs to factor as 'unexpected' hence his predictability, and easy way for opposing AFL coaching teams to set against.

One nickname I've heard for Shaun before is 'Tron' because he only knows how to run in straight lines.

I don't mind seeing Jaensch coming out of Half back but he has been at the same level for several years now, getting sick of him , he needs to lift.

Wonder how Dangerfield would have coped if we threw him straight into the deep end as captain.

Fairly sure the other thread was created by a power fan saying the whole team is crap.
This is by a crows fan looking to see who other fans rate as bad players.

McKernan has now moved to Glenelg so we'll see if that helps him

Massive spud though

Noz

Yeah i created the other thread highlighting the entire club as a bunch of spuds this thread enters in more deep territory highlighting individual spuds in a team of spuds.

Toga

Lol that two of the greatest spuds (Bling and Graham) were traded to you from Richmond! We are now an (almost) potato free list! :P

...Hang on, nah we still have a couple :P

But seriously, Graham is a massive .

And McKernan has never impressed me either...

On a different note, "guns", I have to say Dangerfield will make an exceptional captain when he gets put in that role... The way he slotted that goal, turned around and got Tex to settle down (while not getting fired up at the Dogs giving him a bit of a shove) shows the makings of a great leader for the future guys. Excited to see what the kid can do in the future! :)
