my backline at the moment is;
Goddard, Gibbs, Heppell, Suban, Goodes, Pittard, Stevenson, Terlich

alright so i think the obvious thing to do is upgrade him to Hartlett, but after having another think about it, the extra cash i'd have if i downgraded him to Hutchins would be handy for the coming weeks.

should i stick with Suban -> Hartlett? what do you think i should do?

cheers

Affliction

Hartlett has a break even of 107 which is possible he could score against gold coast

If it was me i would go with Hutchins for the cash, but if you think Hartlett could be in your final back 6 go with him.

Probably downgrading him would be the best option, Hutchins looks good and would have decent JS. A case could be made for hartlett though too. I guess it's what you see as more important, the higher score by around 20 points a game or the extra cash for future upgrades. I'm in a similar situation to you, but I've already got Hartlett and and keeping Suban this week. The reason being I am already using 2 trades this week to get crouch for kommer and bartel for zorko, and then next week I'll get Wright from saints for him. His be is only 50 odd so he shouldn't lose much cash if any, but I'd definetly prefer to trade him.

Birchell or hanley would be good trades, I say this because I already have hartlett and will trade suban to birchell next week myself

thanks guys, i'm still not 100% sure.. the upgrade is in front in the poll but i'm starting to lean to the downgrade  :-\

anyone else got any thoughts?

Edit: i should add i'm only after a league win, i think that's why i'm leaning to the downgrade

Dixon still is red hot in my opinion.

Scored really well, I was at the Gold Coast game on the weekend and he had a shocker in terms of marking and goals, but as a ruckman was very agile, clean hands off stoppages and tackles well. Subbed off in 3rd qtr for 66.

He is a much better ru k option for GC then Smith, and I can see him averaging 90 this year if he stays fit.

its me lads

What do you want to achieve?

Get cash for upgrades in other areas or start to lock in your backline?

If you go to Hartlett then that's 1 less upgrade you have to do in future.

Bill Manspeaker

yeah that is true, although with the cash i'd be able to upgrade 2 blokes next week or whenever, and also get in another DEF rookie that will make more cash.

i was leaning towards Hartlett but after thinking about it, the downgrade seems more logical.. or am i over-thinking it?
