Claye Beams - gone for season
Steven Wrigley - gone for Season
Patrick Wearden - Broken Jaw in three places tba
Jared Polec damaged ankle - 6 weeks
Matt Maguire - Ankle 3 weeks
Ryan Lester - abductor injury 1 - 2 weeks.
Jesse O'Brien Abductor - 2 weeks
Callum Bartlett - Broken Jaw 4 weeks (Bad luck for Barts close to a call up)

Brent Staker set to return is reserves this week
Simon Black also a possibility for reserves this week
Both now taking part in full training sessions.

The good news for Rich is surgery not required so that is a good sign. Rest the medicine.

Agree bit light on and very young but best side from players available (Voss resisted the urge to bring Black back early). Hope Clarke makes the cut as he is an exiting prospect who can give run of HB as well. Am happy with the defensive line up also would prefer to see Docherty named before Yeo. Midfield is sound although Rocky and Zorko will get the tags so will be interesting to see how they perform as both have struggled with tags. Time for Reddan and Moloney to really step up.  Moloney playing his 150th game as well.
Forward line is the issue. Inclusion of Longer would indicate that a resting ruckmen would be used forward as well. Would give a forward line of Brown, Cornelius, Berger/Longer quite tall to match up on. I am hoping Cornelius can respond to the pressure being put on by Lisle who kicked another 8 goals in reserves yesterday.

I hope Moloney has a big game. Perhaps Mayes will bust out with all those talls around. Rocky needs some help with tags obviously. Perhaps he should position up next to Merritt as often as possible. Watched Merritt in last weeks game..he is one scary dude..lol

The Doc says: Maguire has missed six weeks with a calf injury after Lions had hoped for two initially and both Rich and Martin are still six weeks away.

April 18 it said Polec 6 weeks, and now it still says 6 weeks. Must be a pretty bad ankle...

one of those injuries best described as not responding as one would have hoped.  Keep saying 6 weeks each week.

Rich may return in 3 weeks though.
