BE of 47
Two games with scores of 103 and 123 against good opposition.
$459k

I am contemplating either going for the cash (Crouch) or Semi-Premium (Hodge) for K. Mitchell. Will have 5k left over if I go with Hodge. Will have 440k if I do Mitchell to Crouch

So tempting. Imagine if he could stay fit and average around 110. Would love to hear some other people's thoughts first.

Definitely worth considering.
You could do a lot worse. Might be a fantastic POD at a bargain price.

Hes a very good option at that price range, i just cant fit him into my team. I like him though, so could definitely be an upgrade target for my mids if he keeps his form up

I think the only thing stopping from being a premium (like he used to be) is his body. It's not like he's too old, or in a bad team, he just needs to be able to stay on the park to be able to average enough to be a keeper. He said himself that the body is fine, and Hawthorn were obviously in no rush to get him back to make sure he was 100%, but there's always that chance that he breaks down at the wrong time. Still, paying 460k for a dude you might have for 10-15 games before he gets injured isn't bad, assuming he can keep his average around 110.

Could Sewell returning restrict him at all? Played all around the ground on Sunday, but perhaps less midfield once Sewell is back in the team?

Southstorm

He won't average enough to be a keeper. He isn't going to make enough money to justify trading him in and then out. That sort of ruins his business case for me.

$440k left in the bank, on the other hand, will be enough to upgrade a midfield rookie to a genuine premium either this round or the next.

His average won't be the issue, it's the weeks he will miss. Not only thorugh injury, but also he'll be rested before finals, and will most likely miss a match or two near enough the the bye to give his body the extra break.

You're very correct on this. I think the amount of games that Hodgey could miss outweigh the potential he has to be a keeper.

Thanks guys. I'll get the cash this week and upgrade to a known premium next week.

Shame Hodgey is no longer a Def/Mid, he'd be straight in... As a Mid only though, I'll look elsewhere. Champion player though.
