Whitfield > Wines?

Hey lads,

I'm one of the unlucky coaches who missed the boat on Wines, and this week I'm considering trading him in for Whitfield. However, I'm not sure whether it's worth burning a trade and 30k on someone I will most likely trade out again in a few weeks.

Whitfield will still make money, and his draw over the next 2 weeks is pretty good (Melbourne & Gold Coast), so I'm almost tempted just to keep him. Although, it's hard to ignore that fact that Wines is going to make a buttload of cash in the next fortnight, even if his scores start to drop off.

Would you guys consider this? The other thing I'm keeping in mind is it will be my third trade (went Karnezis > JJK last week, Pavlich > Leuenberger this week) and I'm not sure it's a great idea to do so many sideways trades this early. I also think I'm just generally frustrated at losing league games this week to coaches who had Wines' 120-odd and I'm stuck with a 30 from Whitfield.

I could also consider trading someone else out (Kommer, for example) but would prefer to keep as much cash in the bank as possible.

Any thoughts would be appreciated!

Youve missed the boat on this one unfortunately, i'd just hold onto whitfield and hope he can produce some big numbers over the next couple of weeks against weaker opposition.

Think I might do this. I was toying with doing the same trade last week, but it was hard to pull the trigger after Whitfield tonned up and Wines scored 50.

I'd keep my trades, don't think it's worth burning one to bring in Wines for Whitfield.
