After an impressive start to the season, I am considering brining in Justin Westhoff for Zorko? Or have I missed that ship and better of going for someone else? He still had a low break even so will continue to rise in price and if he decides to spud it up later he'll be pretty highly priced so I could trade him to someone decent.

if you are using it as a downgrade from a premium this would be the final week to get him in IMO

dont bother if you are using it for an upgrade from rookie to midprice......

Yeah I'll be swapping Zorko and the Hoff.

its me lads

I'll be doing Zorko - Westhoff. Money to be made and points aswell

Said it before and will say it again with the Hoff, it comes down to you trade him in if you think he can maintain his scores for at least the next round and possibly rounds after, hence rising in price. If you don't think he will score well and were only going to trade him in for his price rise don't do it, better more stable options/long term options out there

I think I'll cave in and do Zorks to Hoff :(

Yeh I'm going Zorko to the Hoff as well. CBF waiting another week on Spudko just to be disappointed again. Also Hoff taking on the Suns defence could turn out pretty well.

PowerBug

Oh the hope that Westhoff goes into his shell solely for my own entertainment. ;D Even if Port lose idc since i said they'd lose this match for weeks now.

Zorko -> Westhoff for me as well, I'm completely comfortable with trading him out in 2 weeks time for $50k more. But see him rack up the points against West Coast next week, with Beau Waters out and maybe still McKenzie. Leaves Schofield as the ONLY matchup for him... Anyway Westhoff only needs to average 90 from here on in to be a good forward, with how the forward premiums have been going thus far.

Colliwobblers

keep in mind port have one of the toughest draws in the competition this season, I am going to seriously consider getting him in for zorko this week with a BE of -20 and against the suns this week it makes a lot of sense, but his draw gets tough - very tough.

for me it is

zorko - hoff  +  mitchell K - crouch or mayes ( if either named)

or

zorko - mayes (if named) + mitchell K - cotchin

so tough call IMO

Maybe if you were looking at last years draw... this year they have one of the easiest mate.

i mean from now....  or after the suns anyway.

suns
west coast
north
richmond
carlton
geelong
bulldogs
giants
sydney
collingwood
essendon
hawks
saints
lions
adelaide
geelong
suns
fremantle
carlton

that my friend is NOT an easy draw for a bottom 4 team the season before...

not the hardest no but far from the softest too.

champion data ranks their complete full season draw as the 11th hardest...

so you might be right, but given 2 of their easiest games are out of the way and i am talking about "going forward" at least after the suns this week it is a pretty tough draw no?

Port still have North, Carlton, Bulldogs, and Giants after the bye coming up in the next 2 months, could easily be 120+ scores as none of these teams have a logical matchup for him. I'm likely holding Westhoff until just after that Giants game.

Colliwobblers

i never said don't get him :)

a few of those sides are hard to predict, not just about what defenders play on him, it's also about which midfield dominates and how much opportunity he gets.

port are up and about and i reckon while they won't play finals they will compete and what we have seen so far i think we will continue to see, look well fit, well coached, well motivated, and frankly they are way too young to be looking as good as they are :)

good for port and the fans, but back to hoff, i see no reason not to get on, but just pointing out what "could be" a tough run home....

will butcher come in and steal any of his thunder? not sure if he is injured? and gray comes back in to but totally different role i know...
