"WESTERN Bulldogs midfielder Shaun Higgins is out for the season after fracturing a navicular bone in his left foot.

He'll undergo surgery later this week."

This bloke can not take a trick.  Shame such a talent suffers so many injuries.

Heaps and heaps of talent, but his body seems to always let him down somehow. Just when the coach predicts a big year. Really feel for the guy. Hope the kid stays strong mentally, with all his setbacks, it must be tough for him

cant say im suprised, the kid would be a star if he could have reamined uninjured. Still young enough to keep going. The postive to take is its not a soft tissue injury.

The negative of course being injuries of this nature have ended careers. :-X :(
