Barring injuries to the rest of my team, a quick sideways to Stokes might do wonders...

disapp\oiting effort but only 1 tiger cracked the ton 101--> Cotchin. They got humiliated and theyre ego has come crashing back down to earth. They were never going to make finals. On the upside i didnt waste a trade on Dusty, I started with him  ;D

Humiliated? They lost by 34 points to a top 4 team.
How can I say off the back of that that they were humiliated and won't make the finals? I don't even go for Richmond but I watched the game and if not for a brain fade in the 3rd they won the game

And who has an ego? I didn't hear any Richmond players ranting and raving saying they were going to win the game

Yeah, I agree with TeeJay... bit of an over reaction there. Tiges are good enough to play finals.

I clicked on this thread fully expecting to be talking Dustin Fletcher :(

Tigers are a promising young team. If they keep their composure they should make the eight. I have high hopes for my team Port Adelaide in hoping they'll make the eight but if I had to compare their chance to Richmond's, the tigers outnumber then ten to one (or more). I'm still proud of how far my team has come but when I compare them to other developing teams such as Richmond, Essendon, Fremantle & Kangas (not really as the two made the 8 last year) they still have quite a bit to improve on. I think Richmond can make 6-8th place if they continue.

Since I was a kid I've considered 24 points a flog. But that is looking at it objectively. Subjectively Richmond dominated the first half and started to let go in the third and from then on it was Collingwood's game. In no way was that a flogging, a flogging gives the impression a team scored the first goal and just built their lead throughout the game. Richmond v Collingwood saw the game change hands multiple times and when it was in Collingwood's hand (as expected from a top 4 team) they just managed to achieve more efficiency. Richmond put up a good game for a team outside the 8 taking on a top 4 team and when considering how much a team won by, much more needs to be taken into account than just the end score :)

do you think its wise to jump of dusty right now and save yourself sub 80 scores with his terrible record against his next 4 opponents? then jumping back on for the essendon (119 last time they met) & following west coast (105) games before their bye? would save a headache, minimal risk if bringing in a proven bartel/thomas/franklin who will easily average 80+ for that period. only considering this due to the new trading rule  ::)
