The Adelaide Casino becoming a premier sponsor?
Personally, I hate the casino and know where the money has come from - a lot of desperate people and a few who know when to walk away and exercise some self control. Also seems a bit chalk and cheese with Food Bank charity sponsorship...

Yeah i dont like it either you make some good points and i will agree with you.

Having a bit of a gambling problem myself i wouldnt like a casino to become a sponser on any AFL club. The AFL is already sponsered by Bet365 and sportsbet it is already effecting many people on how much they promote gambling

The less gambling/betting companies involved in sport the better.

The amount of publicity gambling gets in the AFL world is amazing especially on talk shows such as "AFL teams" "Footy Show" and before matches were they get a representive of TAB to talk about popular bets.

It's quite poor tbh. Which is why i like to listen to ABC Grandstand when it all gets too much. :)

TBH, the ABC is one of the few places I feel I can turn too for any form of credible entertainment.

amen. Gerard Whateley is one of the best people to listen to. No bias either, i think that is very important when commentating, those guys are perfect at it.
