All i wan't to say, is this kid is one out of the box. He's built like a tank, and being young, all he knows is, see ball - get ball. Don't know what other team supporters think, but geez i'm rapt he's at Port

TeeJay

What stuck out to me is how the hell did Melbourne let this guy slip past them??

Wes Mantooth

Absolute gun. I'm not just wrapt with him, I'm rapt with our young squad... lots of good times ahead.

Jroo

You guys have got a gem on your hands. It's guy will be a star, he reminds me a little of Dusty Martin, he's just a beast.

Noz

Im still amazed on how he slipped so far in the draft what was Sheeds thinking.

Toga

He is an absolute flowering star, that's for sure!! :o

As you said, it's amazing he slipped that far down the order... I mean on face value O'Rourke, Toumpas and Macrae might be 'classier' players, but Oli is just what GWS and Melbourne really need imo... A bit of grunt in the middle!

You guys should be rapt, he's gonna be a superstar! 8)

Yeh he's a ripper Dudge. Was good to see well no it wasnt really but how quickly the new guys have bought into the emotion of a Showdown. Theres alot of yound talent in the club and Ollie is certainly one of the best.  :(

Good to see that Port have really recruited well over the off season picking up Wines, Stevenson and others. The club looks competitive again which is great to see. They may have beaten us in '04, but I don't mind the Power.

And Ken Hinkley is a great coach, can't believe no one picked him until now. Wayyyy better than Matty Primus.

Justin Bieber

Yeah why the frog did Melbourne pick Jimmy 'slow as a wet wig' Toumpas over someone like Wines?

Thats kind of you BB, i guess you can be generous when you had won three flags in a row up to 04 haha. Great Lions team that one.
Yeh spot on about Hinkley, he's done a terrific job turning Port's fortunes/form around, must be high on the list already for coach of the year if they can continue to improve as they are.

Why do the Dee's do alot of things Lez, thats one of dozens i can think of. They are very much in need of someone in the mold of Hinkley. Really feel for Dee's supporter's as footy wouldn't be alot of fun for them.

the big questin is wines suceeding over toumpas (very early call) becasue wines is more ready or because port are better at developing youth. Wingard has been great this year too.

QUADZILLA IS TAKING OVER THE FOOTY!

Toumpas will be a damn good player. He dominated in the SANFL last season. I think he just doesn't have enough class around him like Port seem to at the moment in the likes of Cornes, Hartlett, Boak, etc
