All it has done is to keep Demetriou from flicking the life support switch on Port for one more week. The AFL and corporate money for Port will disappear quicker than James Hird after his guilty verdict. The AFL will soon own Port and it is a calculated way that Demetriou and the 'Powers' that be have been slowly been removing the creed identity.

Don't get me wrong, it will be sad to see Port taken over and their identity removed, I mean try selling a Mick Nunan signed football from Fitzroy these days-worthless  :P
Eventually no-one will give a shower because we will be told to do so.

Port will be renamed, much like Powerbug renamed himself SilkySkills, perhaps ashamed of alignining their core identities outside times of success? Typical of a fence sitting demographic that doesn't have the kehonies to put their Sam Rowes on the line.

Naste and I have tried catching up several times over the past few years (he's an old Rosewater boy) but the times just never aligned. The bet was more of an excuse to finally get two old Adelaide boys and their families together. A lot of respect between us  8)

Always Mutual respect as as said it has been ongoing more so my end in getting of my bronze & going down to the City of Churches, hence the bet. Will still even after this visit from yourself & family will get down to catch up with an ol workmate & his buddy for a few ales / cartons.
