RiOtChEsS

i think he could be as safe as houses, cant really tag him in that role (6'6 with a tank and agility)

He is the reason Port r exciting and succeeding, there is no logical reason that they will change his role...

He's might even get the big C this week!!!

I'm still not a believer.

Great choice to all who got him this week, buf for those who didn't. I'd look elsewhere now TBH...

I'm still not going to touch him, he'll get his predictable 2 or 3 pumpkin games soon enough
I'm thinking the same thing right here. He has already got a price rise of $60k so I would be more practical to go Zorks -> Mayes but with his BE who knows how much cash he could produce

A bloke coming off 100,154,140 playing the Suns who let Browny score 106 in wet weather wouldn't be the worse choice.
I don't plan too, but after a few cold ones might get an itchy finger Friday night

PowerBug

I would not be able to bring myself to get him in my side. I just couldn't do it.

Got him in for Zorks last week.
Gained 122K + 89 points. Big win in my books!!!! ;D
And still on a BE of -24

me

i think the more pertinent question is - will i get him in?

if i do, he will definitely drop a 50 bomb. end of story.

I still wouldn't advise putting a C on him. He's a forward and anything could happen. Stick with someone your 100% sure will score 100+ before making an emotional decision that may badly affect your score. Yes he has proven he's a gun, yes he could go 150+, but..... Some players are just never meant to be captains and Westy is one of them :)

Disgusted with myself that I played it safe by bringing in Leuenberger, when it could've easily waited a week and ditched Zorko instead. Sure enough, I'm now needing to manufacture a trade for Kreuzer instead of doing the straight forward Kreuzer -> Leuenberger trade which will be the vanilla trade of the week.

May well bring Westhoff in this week because that's got to be a huge performance and people forget how he burst onto the scene in his first year, he always threaten to be a star then and is now showing it. Much maligned, but hold onto grudges to your own detriment I reckon. This says it all really:

Boom. Well played. Took balls when all the apparent "Veteran Coaches" around here were laughing at the idea of trading him in...

2 trades a week need to be used on something, after all!!

Good point however Port has GCS in round 4 and its highly unlikely Hoff will score lightly

a) It didn't go the "other way," but even if it did Westhoff had a negative breakeven and we've got 2 trades a week to work with. So he was going to make you money and we've got the ability to trade him out if he REALLY spudded up. But who really expected him to score 30-40 after the start he had? He was always going to get 60-70 making him a financial win, but now he's gone 140, again. Without checking, doesn't that make him the highest scorer in the comp currently?
b) We're not talking about Libba, who has struggled to regularly get games and was coming off the back of a personal issue at the end of last season.

Port v Gold Coast next week, but still, Westhoff going to go 80+ (at least!) again and make a heap of cash...
