Good scores from Davey and NDS to make the team score look a bit better. Still let down by Petrenko and Thomas though... And I still reckon Puopolo's gonna go big.

R - R. Warnock

588/6

Match Status:

Cape Town Cobras find themselves 182 in front but have had 4 players extra played. If you consider the fact a captain is really a good as two players really they've got 5 players extra.

Therefore at only 36.4ppp ahead Armadillos should comfortably win this match unless some ultimate disaster hits the team.

Pumas Update

Hartlett, Roberton 54, Houli, McMahon 56
Ablett (C) 306, Sloane 99, Zaharakis 98, Masten 85
Minson
Walker 140, Roughead, Smith 88, Gunston
Adams 67, Martin

Total - 993/9

Roberton disappointing today and Masten a little below par. All in all an average day for the Pumas. Just Kyle Martin tomorrow and the other 5 next week :) Really hoping Gunston plays, I do not want Porps' 40! What has happened to Porps he is the sub every game now  :'(

New Delhi are a genuine shot of taking down Tokyo!

New Delhi are 720 from 8, with Captain yet to play

Tokyo are 999 from 11, Captain has played

Tokyo still the favourites, but if Black goes nuts...

Hopefully we can score 400 from our 2 players today. A Swan 150*2 and a McKenzie 100 would be STELLAR.

Had a dream last night that Schulz played a match and score 0 points for the entire match. Hopefully it doesn't happen next week.

Back: J. Harbrow (114), D. Myers (69), L. McPharlin, M. Williams.
Mids: M. Priddis (VC) (119), N. Jones, C. Wingard, K. Simpson (117).
Ruck: M. Lobbe.
Fwds: C. Rioli, M. Pavlich, J. Westhoff, T. Lynch (78).
Inter: L. Ball (C), F. Ray (82).
Emg: N. Lower, H. Grundy (68), L. Casboult (79), C. Smith, L. Jones.

579/6. Maister and TDL had solid games in the reserves, nipping at a chance if Jones or Casboult fail to perform. Ray put in an average performance by him to try and keep his spot on the bench.

Up today is Captain Ball, Nathan Jones and Marley. Hoping to get close to the 1000 mark here, at least over 900 :P.

Sidebottom somehow cheating his way to 119 from 19 touches, 2 marks and 4 tackles despite having no impact on the game might cost me.

D: Shaw 147, Dixon 50, Murphy, Hombsch
M: Griffen (c), Ward 92, Fyfe, Treloar 124
R: Naitanui (vc) 109
F: Martin, Monfries, Darling 79, Adams 67
U: Seedsman 65, Thomas 97

830 from 9 with captain unplayed.

My calculations have the match at,
Mexico: 180 + Adcock + Ebert + Hodge + Maric + Lewis
vs
Moscow: Murphy + Hombsch + Griffen (c) + Fyfe + Martin + Monfries

I'm avg slightly more per player (he's on 1010 from 10+1) so should be pretty close. I've still got my two best players to come, including one as captain, but on the other hand my worst player left is Hombsch (avg 121 but only player one game) while his is Hodge (arguably).

Purple 77

 :(

Yet, I still think I'm a chance. Franklin needs to score 130+, which he is yet to do this year, but is possible. Conca, Jackson and Edwards need to score 100+, which again is possible.

Birchall needs to score 100 or less, and the other New Yorkers need to score less than 80, which I think is possible.

But, miracles are rare and I'm not counting on one, congratulations New York.

Don't really mind Martin getting played up forward at the moment. For one thing he has still produced two reasonable scores in his games, and if he continues to play up there he should get forward status next year :) Something I desperately need more of!
