Bellchambers is out of my team the moment lockout ends. Massive spud >:(

Much like Duffield he did almost nothing in the last half unfortunately. They kept sticking him in the forward line and giving Ryder almost all the rucking duties.

Great game by the way, feel bad for the Freo supporters.

flower Freo you shower cows. Essendon sniping early taking out Freo key defender.

pommyadam

good to see Ryder do well before he's punted following the ban and Leuey's emergence :)

how the shower did Heppell end up with 78?

me

imagine if mundy didn't drop the ball a billion times - woulda got 120+

flowering pisses me off, he just cruises around doing nothing and overrunning/dropping/fumbling/bumbling the footy

ShaynoB

Well I kept Watson in and c what happens! Hahaha.

And how can someone b on 70 at half time and yet finish on 86. God Duffman goes missing. And just to rub salt into the wound Heppell had to have a cracking last quarter didn't he

Fremantle were WOEFUL they learnt NOTHING from the Western Bulldogs game last week

its me lads

I feel privileged to watch an absolute rip snorter of a game like that. Brilliantly exceptionally intense. Heppel carved up last quater, from 22 at half time, 34 at three quarter time then finished with a respectable 78 considering.

best game i have ever seen stanton play. not the stats, the effort, crowley and all he has stood up.

no i'm not a stanton fan but credit where credit is due?
What staging and milking 8 free kicks?

same umpires for the entire game....  ::)  silly comment he had 8 tackles, haters will be haters and as i said i'm not a fan but at least i am impartial enough to give credit where credit is due...

not many players have that kind of game on crowley in WA.  say what you will while watson had a shocker stanton stood up, simple fact.

@ cicjose - fremantle were incredible for a half, unbeatable - then they were what you said :)

browny_wce

Duffield 70 to half time then 16 for the 2nd half...wow!

what a game, how good was that. not an Essendon supporter, but good on 'em. one of the best wins in the clubs history, and that's saying something. well done

nostradamus

Truly great win for the Essendon Football Club. All week Hird has carried himself with poise and dignity. Tonight the players displayed grit, character and team spirit in bucket loads to have what must rank as amongst the best wins in the clubs history.

Just got back from the game, absolutely shattered. Freo manage to let it slip yet again. :(

Duffman was on track for 140 at half time and finished with 86. ::) Still glad I kept him though.
