i still stand by the fact essendon have done nothing more then any other club
(not saying our record keeping wasn't the best but then again i belive most clubs either A. haven't documented all thiers or B. they ahve got rid of them since this whole fiasco)
no i'm not naive go look at my post in the other topic
i agree as a parent it is concerning
BUT
since feb we have had fremantle "admit" to vitamin C injections after essendon claimed thats all they took

we have also got what i posted of the blood spinning that Guerra and Reiwoldt have done but ASADA said was illegal
and ok benefit of doubt AFL could of looked into it quietly and found out it was ok but that letter from Doc Reid the 2nd part about the calves blood stems all the way back to what max rooke and mark couglan done

my point being is they want Hird to take it all and say yes i am Australia's Lance Armstrong
i forced everyone to do it etc etc etc
knowing everyone then hates him/Armstrong and forgets everyone else that is or has done it

I don't believe every club do it Daz, and if they did, that's no excuse in my opinion.

not every single club but sure there are other
and didn't say it was an excuse at all Ossman
but i mean the public are so divided on bombers atm either in their corner or against
when i do not think it is that clear cut

i agree the bombers lack of record keeping is not a good look and even the multiple injections if not a good look
fine them even hand a suspension or 2 out

but 1 make everything public......and i mean EVERYTHING....the stuff bombers want kept quiet and stuff AFL want kept quiet
so no more innuendo BS
2. my point bout other clubs is are you telling me with Saad, Bock, Trengove to name players
then freo admitting injections but no investigation and that link about blood spinning i done in other thread or back to couglan and rooke's calves blood (which as stated was the 2nd thing reid spoke of)

point being is i'm not pointing fingers everywhere else
gives us our whack but gives the whole truth and Andy D stop his holier then thou shower and put everything out there
and stop with trying to drag it out and make it look like 1 club went to far rather then what would appear to be a afl issue

Edit : just should be ended been on for too long and is crap

Well said Grazz, I agree with all your points. I probably haven't followed(or read) every piece of imformation out there, but to the average Joe Blow, there seems to be flaws in both views (EFC v AFL). The "missing letter" from Doc Ried is compelling, as to why he was not informed. On the other side, why has this dragged on so long-MelbourneStorm . seemed to have been dealt with rather swiftly (could be wrong) Way to many conflicting stories at the minute, but as it stands, I don't like Essendons chances.

On a personel basis, I t does seem Hirdy is putting his own agenda above the club, which I don't think is helping matters. There does seem to be a few things against the Bombers though

Hirds QLD holiday meeting
Shoddy paperwork
The Doc's letter
Off site injections
Signing consent forms
Big resignations or sackings
Missing ASADA letter
Drugs sourced in Mexico left at clinic
Drugs sourced from a "alleged"criminal

But as I stated i'm an average Joe Blow, so the quicker this cr@p is sorted the better

CFC 1979

agree with all, just sick of this now

unfortunately it will now go to the supreme court and drag out till next year

2 things i now believe;

Essendon officials are moraly bankrupt after reading the 34 pages of charges and what is supposed to have occurred

in 2014 ( and maybe longer ) Essendon will be going nowhere on the AFL ladder

you don't take on the commission and win

i will interested in thier draw for 2014, may be nasty

i am more interested in the grass roots level effect. mud sticks and the game has a stain it can't get rid of :'(

Feel for you Daz and all Bomber supporters for that matter, no fan from another club would envy what you are all going through, it's very ugly and hurtful no doubt. We all hope and pray that the whole truth does come out for the sake of all involved foremost the players then the supporters then the rest of us etc.

Don't feel for Daz Grazz, he drinks too quick haha. How olds the youngen now Daz, me and the missus were trying to work out when  me Grazz and your family got together at the Bay? I think your missus was about 6 months at that stage. Ps, get it right mate, I got a "winners choice" on this one lol

Grazz

Well you could of at least answered my "bet"mate :)

Capper

On AFL 360 tonight, Robbo said that Hird had input to the letter that Dr Reid wrote. Reading the letter, there is no way Hird had any input into the letter.

Also that in the findings of ASADA the part about AOD was blacked out for some reason.

This is such a botched up mess it isnt funny.

I also think that the Cronulla Sharks are going to be much worse off than the Dons.

Has there been much in the media about the Sharks since the story broke at the start of the year?

Their situation seems to have been played out less in the media than Essendon's, but it may just seem like that to me as we get jack all NRL news in SA  ;)

kilbluff1985

i'm just sick of hearing from opposition supporters who think they know what's going on because they read the paper and watch the news
so they think they are experts on the subject so feel they can give there 2 cents in an insulting way like "flowering drug cheats"

in a real court of law everything that's happened in the media the last 6 months and things that have been leaked would be considered prejudice

not sure on the correct way to use that word but i know what it means and i don't blame Hird for going to the supreme court any decent lawyer could have a field day with what's taken place over the last 6 months

Hope im not one of those KB, I dont mean to be, I just have a lot of questions like many others. Which is sad because after all this time we should have less questions and more answers but it just drags on and on.
