Its time for the AFL to act. This is to big, teams can't keep losing to this team, they've obviously cheated and its time for them to pay the price.
ABC has confirmed that none of the drugs mentioned in the Dank Hird texts were illicit.

If you think that every coach which takes ASADA/WADA prohibited substances should be stood down then there would be 18 vacancies in the AFL come morning.

Crawl back into your hole. Seriously don't have time for people like you.

EDIT: @ Noz, those are obviously not the kinds of substances he is taking, his body is totally FARKED from 15 years of football in which he often showed a disregard for his own wellbeing for the betterment of the club. The growth hormones would almost certainly be to help him deal with the aftermath of such a career and it is very much OK for him to take those things.

So you're accusing Sheady of taking ASADA banned substances?

You're a hack. Hop away little hack.

Mate, Sudafed is an ASADA banned substance. Yes he would have taken them. It's not an issue though, because he is a bloody coach.

Furthermore, I don’t understand how you star struck lovers can be still defending this type of behaviour. Our game is bigger than one club, and this type of action brings it all into disrepute. Far more than Ben Cousins' personal addiction, or Brendan Fevola's. This is allegedly systematic team wide rorting. Something simply has to be done.

And before you say one more thing about sensationist media. Consider the fact the Australian Crime Commission spent over a year investigating and documenting this. The ACC doesn’t waste its time with two bit drug dealers, its mandate is the investigation of organised and serious crime.

Wake up…

If I was Hird, and I hadn't done it, I'd fight this ridiculously hard, and sue the flower out of everyone for slander.

If I was Hird and I had done it, I would tell everyone to go flower themselves, as these drugs are legally available in Australia to non-professional athletes for what ever reasons.

that being said, I can't think why Hird would bother doing a drug like that, unless he had a legitimate medical condition.

Once again, it's still innocent until proven guilty. If the bombers are proven guilty of their players being on performance enhancing drugs, I think they should be absolutely smashed.

Until then though, everyone should just shut the flower up and let the professional investigators do their job.

For one, ACC are investigating Dank - Not Essendon. Guess what, Dank also worked at Cronulla who have been outed for systematic cheating, you'd think that has something to do with the ACC looking into him. Also his dodgy as all hell business.

The only thing which our players have been confirmed to have taken has gone through clinical trials and is approved for human use, not to mention it does NOT promote muscle growth (so it's not a PED). I might add that the company that makes it is currently tanking on the stock market because their product is basically shower.

NO evidence which could be used to prosecute Essendon has been revealed or even hinted at. Steven Dank maintains that James Hird did nothing wrong, and that he did not administer any ASADA/WADA banned substances to the players. Additionally the e-mail from James to Robinson/Dank outlining that the substances had be ASADA/WADA approved, safe for human use and approved by the playing group before they were to be administered to ANYONE at the club.

It is all just allegations and finger-pointing so far, most certainly not enough to ban any players, remove anyone from administration or god forbid remove the club from the competition.

I would say he does have some issues with his body after 15 years of football during which he mistreated his body for the betterment of the club continuously.

there is not 1 shread of evidence to suggest that the bombers are doing something illegal

this bringing the game into disrepute crap is a load of shower, I don't see Demetriou penalising himself for flowering the game over with 800,000,000 stupid rules, the only reason any of this is affecting the game is because the media constantly reports shower with no evidence to back it up

After a win like last nights it is gonna be a damn harsh slap to the face if they are found guilty and have players suspended/wins stripped etc. wish they would hurry up with the conclusion

I just had an interesting thought. Would they take away Watson's Brownlow if they are found guilty of taking drugs?

They've been talking about that basically since it started.

My opinion - if Watson was on drugs, whether he knew about it or not, they should take it away. Not fair if he was lied too, but more unfair to Cotchin and Mitchell.

BUT I don't think any of the Essendon players took illegal drugs. I think that Essendon were incompetent with practices, I don't think they were corrupt.
