Fremantle vs Essendon Curtain Raiser

Just thought I would let everyone know that my footy team.... the mighty Southern Saints is playing the Geraldton Mighty Blues in the curtain raiser game at Subiaco Oval on Friday night.

I am so excited about playing this game on the hallowed turf that is Subi Oval. I couldnt care if we dont even kick a behind and get smashed. I am gonna walk away at the end of the game knowing that I have played a game there.

Then we get to sit as a team and watch my boys play against the Bombers in what should be the game of the round.

What's even better is that the Channel 7 cameras will be recording the game and we can buy the tape for $10.

I think I did my one special thing for the season last weekend where I took a big mark. I am done for this season now :P

It wont be shown on TV but I will have be able to buy a copy of the game on DVD

Hahahah thats wicked Valk. I reckon if you have a big enough game you could be recruited, I hear they send out scouts to these kind of occasions!

Just about to leave for the ground now. Getting really excited even though its a wet day here in sunny Perth.

@Q - I am really a CHF but I play mostly ruck for this team
@Ele - I have no chance of being recruited. If I was recruited I would be the 2nd oldest player in the league (behind Dustin Fletcher)
@Rooster - My energy levels are back but I am also carrying at extra 30kg, so I dont move as fast as I used to.

Pre-empting my DT stats.

Ruck - 1 Mark, 2 Kicks, 1 Handball, 5 hitouts, 1 Tackle = 20DT
CHF - 3 Marks, 3 Kicks, 0 Handball, 2 hitouts, 1 Goal, 0 Tackles = 26DT

At least I will score more DT than Zac Dawson
