Hi everyone
I'm looking for some cheap domestic travel insurance.
I need to cover 2 adults and 2 kids.
Some people might say they not bother with it for travel in Australia but after last time I won't go without it.
Some company/site suggestions would be great.
Thankyou :)

l have no idea, but it could be worth starting with a Broker to find some good options

Mr.Craig

I've never worried about domestic travel insurance but Travel Insurance Direct sound good and from the looks of it your kids are covered under the policy for free.

Australia Post do travel insurance and they seem reasonably priced.

If you are booking your trip through a travel agent you could always organize it with them too.

Thanks Mr Craig
Its all booked and has been since last year.
I`m just getting the bits organized now have the tickets for the boys to the rugby I got the footy tickets in the mail yesterday.
Go to get the skybus tickets and maybe get the MCG tour tickets before we go so we don`t have as much to pay for while other there.

And now the insurance simply because last time we went to Melbourne our flight got delayed by 6 hours and it looked like we were going to miss the footy game we already had tickets for which travel insurance will cover. As it turned out we made it to Melbourne in time but literally had to check in and leave to get to the game and we hadn`t been to Melbourne before so we basically followed people dressed in footy gear to get to Etihad lol.

http://www.cheaptravelinsurance.com.au/ is what I would suggest. It's web underwritten by Lloyds so you can actually trust it and it's still very cheap :)
