How many mid priced defenders?

At the moment I have 4 mid priced defenders and I'm wondering if this is too many. Lets not forget they are mid priced for a reason! To accompany Goddard, Hodge & Kelly I've got Kennelly, Macleski, Hunt & Ladson.

The basic question is how many mid priced defenders will you start with and why?

Well I have Kennelly, finished playing a year of Gaelic and is very fit and looks ready to go, Malceski because after last night he's shown he may finally be over that knee injury and and could average 80+ this year. Greenwood because I just like the look of this kid he got mid time in the match against Geelong and has shown a lot of promise. I don't have Ladson because him being subed off in both of hawthorns matches to me shows a lack of faith in his ability. I don't hve Hunt because his knee worries me and playing for Geelong there are always going to be a  lot of players taking points off him.

And then there is Waters??? He wont score much but its nice to have someone who will play, even if he averages 40.

Maguire played and picked up 20 possessions, don't know mix though!! Pretty good value!!

don't rate waters as he is very injury prone.

only gone with 3 mid pricers but trying to cut down to 2.

I think i should pick Levi Greenwood over Drum. I have 4 mid priced defenders but i really need the cash to upgrade my terrible ruck combo (Ottens and Seaby) What are your thoughts?
