I'm contemplating putting Tex as captain this week. 100% sure he will kick a bag - 5 plus :)
I wouldn't be surprised Jay. ;) Just be wary that we will be putting someone a kick behind filling the hole which Tex loves, 60m out from goal. You saw the Hoff go there last week and i'd imagine he'd do the same. It'll be interesting to see who goes to him to try and shut him down? Johncock? Also, will you be at the game? :)

Yeah I'll be keeping a close eye on how they play Tex. He looms as the match winner - keep him quiet, Port win?

Stiffy in for Callinan. Kicked 7 for Port - too good for sanfl level imo

Unfortunately I can not make this one. Next time ;D

Maybe never.

Fixed. You're setting your standards far too high mate, setting yourself up for major disappointment. I hope you handle it well, although you do support Port :P

Won't be any crows fans there, we don't go to Power home games
So much for the unconditional support of the 19th man   :-X

Chad Wingard and Oli Wines have already made a bigger impact in AFL than when Ablett and Boyd were their age.

Schulz is better than Petrie

Ok, sure mate. You can pass judgement after two games against this years bottom two sides.

He's going on the Coleman medal that Schulz will be wearing at the end of this season. :)

lt looks like there's no place for logic in this discussion Ele

TeeJay

Noz you say some very strange things mate. Are you trying to challenge tbag for the most one eyed, bias commenter on this forum?
If Wingard or Wines have a career with even a quarter of the accolades as Ablett and Boyd you should feel very lucky.
And Petrie has had a hell of a lot better career than Schultz

I think TeeJay Noz was replying to my comment where i mentioned the comparisons being made in the Advertiser, and made similar ones ;) I notice from the opening post you are in Adelaide so not sure if you've seen any of these comparisons to crows players but they are quite terrible. :)

Spot on. This is a showdown banter thread, go away if you want to talk logic. This is where crows supporters and port supporters go head to head all week, and the losers wish they never said anything.

You reallly have to be in adelaide to knwo about it. :)

I mean its okay that every single adelaide supporter compare Patrick Dangerfield to every other midfielder that has ever played AFL and that Ellis-Yoleman a bloke that has never even played in the AFL before be compared to Adam Goodes.

Ele you should know how big a showdown is or derby or whatever you blokes call it in SA.

This is going to be one of the biggest showdowns in history.

04 was second only to my kids births. 07 has cost me plenty of cash with psycologist. But overall, it was good watching them in colour ;)
