Last night, I sustained an eye injury. I can't play for a few weeks due to bleeding inside the eye but when I get back to playing, I'll likely need some form of eye protection for at least the first few games. Does anyone know where the best place to buy them is, what I should be looking for, and any general experience in the matter?

The problem with eBay, as well as Google and other searches is that there are no good details on what's good and what's not. And that eBay search has goggles to help you learn to dribble as the second result...

Thanks though.

Some good players wear goggles, Lahug! Can't get over your horror run with injuries hey mate?  :-[

My advice is get tinted goggles so defenders can't see your eyes ;D

Maybe have a look here?

LaHug

Yeah, I thought a new year would mean injury free but apparently not...
Cheers, mate.

Master Q

I might wear goggles for the sake of it.

Goggles = +10 swag

Capper

wow, so it's 1-1 on the injuries

Just like last year

I had 3 last year and tonsillitis. Might be a touch behind the pace for this year...

It was hard to walk with a broken foot and damaged ankle!

Capper

yeh true. Good to see you (even if its only with one eye) back on the court

LaHug

When are you back to sport? I've got a minimum of two weeks off, according to the doctor from last night. However, I'll be asking again tomorrow and hoping for a different answer.

Capper

at least 2 more weeks off returning to sport which sucks as the comp only started 2 weeks ago
