Karnezis the sub?

Just because the player isn't listed on the bench doesn't mean they can't be sub (Matera from last week was one), so there are more people other than Karnezis/Beams that could be sub, like maybe Polkinghorne?

It is also pretty unlikely that they would make Beams the sub for 2 weeks in a row.

Ithink it will between Beams & Karnezis also . I just can't see Raines being the Sub as he will likely tag Dangerfield unless someone ele that has been named on the field is sub time will tell.
Been having this discussion in Brisbane board and it would not surprise if Polkinghorne is named sub even though named on field.

I swapped him for JJK.  Was hesitant putting him in and named on extended bench was last straw.  JJKs job security and recent form cemented this.  May prove me wrong but two trades per week for a reason right?

This isn't DT.

Just realised, blame it on Friday...

named benches have no bearing on subs named. Matera was named on the field for GC last week

I was just about to post this before finding it as the very last post. This exactly. You don't have to be named on the bench to be named the sub. The fact Polkinghorne is still in the team and should have been very close to getting dropped after his performance last week makes me think it could be him. He does however fit the type of player that is likely to start as a sub.

Bewick also probably is a chance for sub

Green for Green?
He was sub quite a lot last year, but I don't think they will do it this year

Yes, looks like Neade will come on for me.

Ringo

Depends on who your emergencies are if likely to play a full game substitute

I just benched him and started Byrnes. If he does not look like he will hit his breakeven next week I will look at trading him to Varcoe/Petterd/Neade.

couldn't get onto this site to fins this out before partial lockout so i still have the spud on the field.

sick to death of FF not working properly every time it is before during or after a game. frankly useless.

AFL site worse than useless, what do i have to get twitter or something to find out anything about the AFL?
