looks like we have done our trades for this week, man has this team been hit hard by injuries. Can only work to rebuild next week i guess.

Well this week we scored 1940 and not surprisingly ended up with a round ranking of about 140k and an overall of around 82k

As far as league match ups go we came away one from five.... luckily in my league we were up against a team posting only 1500 (no idea what happened there)

So last weeks team



With little cash left in the bank i think its time to go looking for good trades and future bargains, with a little planning i think we can pull this back a bit. I'll do some research, in my team i saved up enough cash for a double rookie upgrade this week to Buddy and Priddis...... Not that that helps us much but there are always undervalued keepers out there!

OUT Stevenson and Neade - too much pain now from the Port rookies

IN Thomas and Vlastuin.

Cotchin, Shaw and Gibbs still uncertain starters could also be in the firing line - and Hartlett.

Looking at the leagues - 2nd / 14th / 14th / 17th / 17th.

Have to start winning so need to trade aggressively.

Depending on who is available in our backline this week, i'm more inclined to make money making trades this week. Of course depending on team selection i would look at Stevenson to Docherty/Sierakowski and possibly Wines to lonergan/cachia. Now i know these dont seem like good trades but the money we make this week will pay us back in spades in the future. Nic Nat will drop drastically next week thanks to his sub game. Watson will be around 540k after his nap against GWS and Marc Murphy will be around 500k in around 2 weeks. I like these options a bit more than Daisy or similar priced players this week.

The way things are going at the Pies, Kennedy could be the buy of the week. (How the hell did we dodge the Daisy injury?) Wines > Kennedy opens the dpp forward link.

We need to be off Port. Don't get Docherty, you can't trust Voss. Siera and Lonergan - prefer Loneragn, but, as I said before, don't like expensive rooks with poor js.

That said, Vlastuin has certainly shown something - could be a good move to trade either Port back. At the price, I don't think you can cop Hartlett's price drop, so maybe that's the other trade?

Shaw out ... bench him.

So lucky on the Daisy bullet! So many options for us this week with such an unsettled line up. I think the smartest move is to wait for teams tonight and find out whether Cotchin, Gibbs and the new rookies are playing.

We have some of our bigger names on the pine this week guys specifically in defence.

Heath Shaw, Suspended for 1 week for somehow managing to find Ballantynes privates and hit them. Sounds more like it needs its own icon in FF than a suspension but there you go.

Bryce Gibbs is out again, if anyone can tell me how long he is expected out i can't find it anywhere.

Brad Crouch is playing in the 2's this week to get some match fitness back.

Jake Neade is on the extended interchange and a chance of not being picked.

I hate sideways trading premos because they are not playing especially when we have hartlett who is playing and mayswell not. Is it time to pull the trigger on Gibbs or will he be back soon?
A suggestion from the Doc is Gibbs > Vlastuin and Wines < Any mid (he likes Danger)

If we think Gibbs is back next week and we just want to play our bench cover for a weak defence this week i have a suggestion i'm not even sure i like. I see Jacobs as being a problem in our team. Maybe Jacobs to Daw and Wines to any premo under $610K (i like JPK) Work towards getting Nic Nat on the cheap in 2 weeks getting us Cox and Nic Nat fwd/ruck set up.

Do we like any of these choices or are there some fresh suggestions out there?

Just remember that Jacobs has lost so much that it's prob too late to salvage much by trading him out.

Also, beware the Cox/NicNat/Gawn/Blicavs ruck combo come round 12.

If you do dismiss the Sauce, don't get a round 12 bye ruck in his stead.

So, also, we should think about harvesting Gawn after round 11 to get a ruckman from one of Hawthorn (Roughy!!) Richmond (a cheaper Maric) Freo (Sandi - but maybe too early and risky and expensive) WB (Minson - surely he'll start getting tired) Port (Don't make me laugh).

The team needs points ASAP to get into finals in 4 of the 5 leagues it's in.

Too much cash (=points) sitting on the bench to win matches at this stage.
