I'm backing him in a bit longer. The conditions up in GC were wet and humid and Zmith had some pretty stiff competition in McEvoy (who also scored like shower).

By all means trade him but I'm backing my selection ;)

Its either Smith or Patton I lose out of my squad, then again GWS did play the swans last week

Whats the hurry to jump off Smith? He's a genuine lone ruckman. 3rd year, will be an improver. Has bulked up a little. NAB cup form was great. More athletic than most rucks so should be more suited by the new ruck rules.
If this anti-Smith sentiment is based on one week, I think people should relax for a bit. I have him and have no intention of turfing him yet.

Patton actually looked and scored pretty well for a KPP in a 5 goal loss.

In saying that I actually have Zmith but not Patton.

Yeah I`m pretty sure he was thats another thing that affected his scoring.

yeah Dixon usually takes a couple but took 10 of the hit-outs last week (and scored great too). Will hopefully take less of them next week...

I'll be trading him to the berger this week if named.
He scored pretty poorly, and reports are that berger smashed as 110 DT points in the NEAFL last week. Even if he is eased into it for the first few games, I believe he can still produce better scores than anyone for that price range.

Also, unless smith does really well this week, chances are that you will trade him out before he drops in price anyway. Personally I'm not ready to jump on kruezer yet, and berger (if fit) cannot go wrong at his price even if you have to downgrade him to r3 at some point.

pinochio

im staying strong.....for now :)

what if berger is subbed or dosent even play next week or something....at least smith is fully fit and should be a lone ruckman!!!

Smith won't drop in price. He was bought at the price because he was considered value.

dillez

keep on smith until burger is on the bubble or looks good. If you trade to burger this week and he spuds or is a late withdrawal or a sub it you havent improved your squad using the trade someone else

Looks like Dixon is taking a LOT of the ruck work this season... :'(  bye bye Smith, hello Leue.

Andrew

So glad I did Smith -> Kreuzer last week. Smith has some easier fixtures coming up, but looks like a wasted spot in your starting line-up. What a spud.
