Change made after lockout was to reflect that Dixon is a defender and not a forward.

Poor game for me in the end only scoring 1382 and being beaten soundly by the Breakers. Not helped by Schenider being the sub and a few low scores from defenders, forwards and mids. If only I played Dixon on the field.

So just finalising my total is 1382 + 20 = 1402

Ringo

Will do the full write up for round 2 after I get back from Doctors in about 1 hr.

Justin Bieber

What a load of crock. Second highest score... lost my game :( lol.

ossie85

Our midfield still very orginary, but our forwards are going guns

Ringo

Well Round 2 is done and dusted with some very good games and surprising results.

Newcastle Falcons 25.18.178 defeated the Bradford Badgers 24.18.172
No Late Changes
In the match of the round which was very entertaining and high scoring match played in great spirits. Only one goal in it and had all excitement of a Grand Final.  These 2 teams at the moment would be favoured to meet in the Grand Final and the Falcons have bragging rights.  Other teams may have a say however in this as the season progresses.
Best Players:
Falcons - Captain Jobe Watson led the way ably assisted by Joel Selwood, Jimmy Bartel and Ben McEvoy
Badgers - Captain Trent Cotchin again starred supported by Pearce Hanley, Andrew Swallow and Will Minson,

Birmingham Bombers 24.15.159 defeated Crosby Cruisers 18.16.124
No late changes
Cruisers had to play 3 players out of position which effected their chances and resulting in a comfortable win to the Bombers.
Best Players:
Bombers: Justin Westhoff, Captain Marc Murphy, Jack Ziebell and Dean Cox
Cruisers: Jarrad McVeigh, Travis Boak, Jack Reddan and Matthew Pavlich.

Huddersfield Hawks 24.15.159 defeated Staines Steins 22.15.137
No Late changes
In another tight game Hawks finally overpowered the Stein in the final quarter winning by 2 goals.
Best Players:
Hawks: Sam Mitchell, Ryan Bastinac, Captain Josh P Kennedy, David Zaharakis
Steins: Captain Kieran Jack, Ryan O'Keefe, Chris Judd and Luke McPharlin/

Hebden Bridge Hedgehogs 25.17.167 defeated Winchester Warewolves 20.18.138
Late Change Brad Sheppard playing out of position replaces Jack Gunston.
Comfortable victory here for the Hedgehogs with both Luke Parker and Dustin Martin showing what they are capable of. Warewolves were somewhat disappointing after their promising start last week. Captain Gibbs was unable to back up last weeks dominant display for the Warewolves. Warewolves may still be a force if they can get best team on the field but would not want to give away too much of a start,.
Best Players:
Hedgehogs: Captain Brent Stanton, Luke Parker, Heath Shaw, Jack Riewoldt and Dustin Martin
Warewolves: Matt Priddis, Nathan Fyfe, Michael Hibberd, David Myers.

Nottingham Hoods 23.18.153 defeated Liverpool Lobsters 19.15.129
In their first hit out under new coach FOOTBALLFACTORY and despite having to play Jack Trengrove and David MacKay out of position the Hoods had a comfortable win over a very disappointing Lobsters outfit. Only an outstanding effort from Captain Dyson Heppell saved the Lobsters from ultimate humiliation whilst Luke Hodge looked good in his first hit out for the Hoods,
Best Players:
Hoods: Scott Pendlebury, Captain Gary Ablett, Chris Masten, Clint Jones
Lobsters:  Dyson Heppell

Manchester Magic 23.15.153 defeated Swindon Swaggers 23.11.149
Late Changes Nil
An outstanding game by Captain Tom Liberatore enabled the Magic to get home in a close game over the Swaggers.
Best Players:
Magic: Tom Liberatore, Callan Ward, Lance Franklin and Rory Sloane
Swaggers. Grant Birchill, Quentin Lynch, Jarryd O'Brien and Captain Tom Rockliff,

Swansea Breakers 25.15.165 defeated Leeds Leeches 21,14.140
Late changes nil.
Comfortable win to the Breakers here. Leigh Montagna showed great form in his first game of the season. With the Leeds backline not showing much resistance will Charlie Dixon be called up following 2 outstanding games in the reserves.
Best Players:
Breakers: Steele Sidebottom, Leigh Montagna, Captain Dane Swan, Jeff Garlett
Leeches: Luke Shuey, Captain Brett Delidio, Lenny Hayes, Sam Jacobs

Hastings Hurricanes 24.14.158 defeated Bilston Bunnies 23.12.150
Late changes Liam Summer replaces Cam Pedersen in Hurricanes side.
Despite a vastly improved showing the Bunnies went down to the Hurricanes in a close game. New coach of the Bunnies has the team moving forward and may surprise a few teams in coming weeks.
Best Playersta
Hurricanes: Kane Cornes, Brendon Goddard, Captain Patrick Dangerfield and Stephen Coniglio.
Bunnies: Captain Ben Howlett, Stewart Crameri, Tom Bellchambers, Joel Corey.

Oxford Owls 23.16.154 defeated Grope Lane Giants 20.19.139
Late Change
Liam Anthony replaces Jordie MacKenzie for Giants.
Comfortable win for the Owls over a depleted Giants side. Jaeger O'Mera continues to show poise in his first season in the AFL and would be amongst the favourites for Rising Star award. Giants looking forward to fielding their strongest side over the next couple of rounds and causing havoc against the top teams according to Coach Nails.
Best Players:
Owls: Captain Scott Thompson, Jaeger O'Meara, James Kelly, Nick Dal Santo.
Giants: Captain Brad Ebert, David Swallow, Reece Conca.

The Table has undergone some changes so checkk it out in this thread:

Great read ringo :(

Close, but no cigar from Swindon. Jarryd O'Brien's score a particular highlight :P

Justin Bieber

Great work Rings. Badgers unlucky and just in 8 after another decent display :(

BB67th

Good work there Ringo. Yes I think Dixon will definitely be getting his first senior call up this week, only question is who misses out for him.
