not the usual situatio to have a team owner message his assistant while at work an hour or two before lockout and say the team is now yours....

as in my above post, i was sent a pm advising me of the situation BEFORE lockout in which the new owner named the two players from tonights game BEFORE LOCKOUT.

the deal was he was to neam the rest of the team tonight before any further news on the rest of the games could come out to give him an advantage in naming the rest of his team.

he has done this.

all is good. he did not name jroo or houli AFTER he named them BEFORE,

and if any of you quit right before lockout i will give the new coach of your team the same deal ;)

Oh and by the way Pickers is no longer at the Lambs, Toga is the new head coach and this will not change again.

Guys I got told I would e head coach of the Lambs at 5:00 today, and didn't get home from work until 8:00 tonight... Don't know what more I could do?

I PMed Colli at 5:00 saying can you please name Jroo & Houli for me, which he did BEFORE LOCKOUT so not sure what the problem is?

And regardless, the Lambs only have 4 playing fwds this week so if CW had to just take best 15 or whatever, Jroo had to be named... It's not as if I chose to name him after he started killing it, he's obviously in our best 15 ???

Sorry if I've done the wrong thing, don't know what more I could've done though. :(

Btw Tbag should be sacked. Vickery as captain is a disgrace and he is being a ghost team for future. Plus the team doesn't have enough talent to be competitive in future years... Really disappointing...

vickery was a speculative risk, but a fair one after last week.

i disagree, i think he saw it as a chance to maybe get a BIG captains score and COMPETE. if he was being a tool trying to lose i would sack him.

i do not think this is the case.

as for the future of his team, we will see, will i let him trade mature players for draft picks this season, probably not, will i let myself, probably not.....

he is the gcs of the AXVS nost is the GWS, i am just the dees, not all kids but not real good either :)

these two bottom SUPER YOUNG teams, will be shower for this season, and next season, like it or not they WILL

but they will alos be in an enviable position to win back to back to back flags in 3-4 seasons as all those high draft pick kids mature.

i like that we have a diverse range of teams. like the REAL AFL>

some really old lists in the premiership window - bears dongs

some balanced teams - elephants

some young lists with no hope now but a bright future? - llamas, vipers?

don't stress we will monitor trading and list management ( or rather i will ) after this season, but i am not concerned eithr by the oldest lists or the youngest lists at this point,

however clearly both of those extremes would not we wise to continue in that direction next season, if you follow ;)
