Think goodes scoring will be integral come byes. Main reason for jumping on Birchall is to get rid of Mayes and stop a donut.. Would love Hanley in, just don't have the money.. Terlich will make way for him in Round 12 :)

so far I have 18 players playing if the rookies who didnt play last week dont play again

orange are players who could potentially come back but not named last week
red players wont be playing at all
what should i do..

i want to jump on either Gorringe or Nicholls or maybe even both to have as emergency back up ad then upgrade one of them to minson next week (Rowe > Gorringe, Hannath > Nicholls, Gawn > Minson?)

also want to try and get griffen in my mids after next week, at the expense of viney? (Evans > Hrovat, Viney > Griffen, OMeara > Martin?)

i know im jumping on a whole lot of round 13 rookies but hopefully i can fix that through trading in round 11 and 12 premiums

with five trades left..

If something goes a miss ill probably trade Macaffer out before Round 13, but potentially see him, Staker, Goodes, as well as the boys on mid and ruck bench as decent cover for the rest of the season.. trades may need to be used on Jacobs, Goodes, Kennedy, if they start to drop their output

what do people think?

edit: no matter which way i look at it i wont be able to get four premiums over the bye rounds unless i trade goodes out, which i dont want to do because his output has been just as good as any premium and he has a favourable draw coming into the back end of the season

I don't think I agree with using 9 trades in 3 weeks.

Just leaves you vulnerable when The General comes to town back end of the year..and believe you me, he's a comin', boi!

Pretty solid week for me, with 21 players to choose from, 20 once JJK went down

Trades im looking at is to upgrade Rowe > Minson but im really lacking the rookies to downgrade.. Gawn has hit his ceiling, Rowe and Viney arent playing, Terlich has almost reached his ceiling as well..

Rowe > McBean, Gawn > Minson, Viney > TMitchell?

$62,300, 8 trades remaining and I'm $20k short of going Macaffer > Daniher, Crouch > Selwood
Chances are ill prob just downgrade further to a Lee or Burbury if named

Then my last trade will be Thurlow and Terlich > Oxley/Ferguson and Hanley

Crouch > Selwood, Heppell > Dusty, Macaffer > Oxley - this gives me 18 players on field

Week after

JJK > Daniher, Terlich > Hepell or whoever..

Then I'll still have enough cash to go Thurlow > Hanley when he has bottomed out

It would leave me with two trades and a full team of

I'll have cover with Staker, Daniher, Mitchell, Nicholls and Martin on my bench with my last trade probably being Martin > lowest priced B/C and Webster up to a premium to allow extra flexibility with Goodes to roam amongst the centres and backs

Jacobs should make his BE after his bye. You don't need Maric this week.

I think you should shore up your defence before your rucks.

Terlich, Webster and Thurlow can't all stay.

Those trades will be gold come finals.
