With rolling lockouts and lots of last minute changes if you do not have access to your squad before each game you will not end up top 1000.
Having the time and ability to tweak your squad may result in >50 pts round by changing emergency and vested players

Very smart of supercoach to drive views and advertising to their site or purchase of the app.

Otherwise :
I have learnt that having to many Port players is not a problem ( wish I picked hartlett too)
The top priced midfielders are expensive because they smash out big scores - thanks Gaz, peddles, JFK and Cotch
You will always regret not picking up certain mid pricers
Don't bring in a player because another is injured and they will "get what the other guy usually gets"
Mature age rookies are gold!!
Gun rookies with time at a club are gold  yes you Viney
Coaches do not care about our Supercoach - terlich, Mitchell, etc etc
Never believe that a player listed on the ground will play in that position or even may get the vest

What have you learnt???

Don't bother frigging around with the VC loophole if you have Ablett!

98% of the time the cream rises to the top.  Finding the 2% that doesn't is the hardest part of this game.

I've learnt that you can't trust the 'final teams' and relax - saw Beams out, changed it. But Shaw again late? That's given me food for thought. May have to look 15 minutes before instead.

Agree, rolling lock out is very important. Though Round 1 was different because of no trade limit, it will be much tougher to make last minute trades with limits.

Other thing I've learned - trading may have to wait until the round starts this year!

NAB counts for nil.  Sick to gut feel and not be swayed by inflated NAB form.  Those that read my early posts on Zorko will see where I am coming from with the concerns raised coming true however his NAB form changed those thoughts.  Silly.

Opening round over 2 weeks is a farce - having to make some rookie decisions before other teams named is a lottery.  Thank You Luke Brown!!.

Positive though super prems are priced high for a reason and will always perform despite the occasional bad game.

Going with you gut when picking players can pay off more often than not
Mine was picking Swallow and not Dangerfield hopefully that works out in the long run.

Seems having too many Brisbane players might be a problem. Boy, did their NAB cup suck us in :o
Hope it changes, but wish I didn't have Rich (might swap for Mundy). Happy with Rocky & Karn, but wish I had someone other than Zorko.

+1 I went with my gut with rookie defenders and managed to dodge Whitfield and toumpas

Swan fan

yes, went with my gut and played Viney and Wines over Mitchell, wish I had stayed with Swallow....  and not let Zorko suck me in... all in all not too bad...  :o

What I've learnt - never trade / swap players if beer is in the room.

Cool9

Never drink and trade is a sound policy Shifty! Never drink and post is also a decent piece of advice I've heard around the traps ....

tor01doc

No no no.

You can drink, you just have to post in moderation.

lovesbud

-That trades after 1 round should be banned so I stop thinking about it...

muzza3465

Never bring in key position players forwoods or backs

When deciding that having DPP's on all lines is a good strategy..make sure you do it... :(
