roo boys!

Butler! That's a surprise I'll give him that haha. Has been a shining light in an ordinary defence, my Bewick for Butler trade looking OK at the moment!

Might have to play Johannisen next week against Tokyo just to get him a rising star nomination. :P Dogs vs Melbourne, I like his chances.

You mean the giants?

My bad. :-X Yeah, the Giants.

Some comments about the 2013 WXV rising star.

Tim Watson

"Jaeger O'Meara could quite well go down in history as the greatest midfielder that's ever played the game," Watson said on Melbourne radio station SEN on Monday morning.

"He is unbelievable. You've got to keep reminding yourself that here is a kid in his first season of AFL football at 18 years of age. He has it all.

"I'll stand corrected if that doesnt happen"

Purple 77

Maybe Crouch will have a shot at getting the nomination next week, seeing as he may just play after his 114 :o

Will be Berlin's first for the year if he does  :P

Had a look at my player's eligible for the WXV rising star, (and I would choose a club rising star for the club award out of this lot), and I have no one deserving lol

Brad Crouch and Josh Saunders are the only ones out of this lot to play an AFL game, and neither of them are deserving of the award.... YET.

Hopefully Crouch can cement a spot in the final weeks!

Hunter kills it (not eligible as bye round :( )
gets subbed
than dropped

its Docherty all over again

Rising Star

Wellington's 2nd rising star nominee was a long time coming, as this guy has played every game this year and was one of the early tips for the award! Now he is an official chance to take it out! Lachie Whitfield!

R14: Lachie Whitfield (Wellington) - 99

Team of the Week

Ringo takes out Coach of the round. The 'big 3' of Sao Paulo, Buenos Aires and Maca24 took out the first 10 coach of the round awards, but none have topped the charts since. I think the flag race if wide open.

4 London nominations, with the Brewers the only other with more than one, as Malceski takes the Captaincy

Round 14
D: N Malceski (Capt, Cairo), G Broughton (Cape Town), L Henderson (Berlin), G Ibbotson (New Delhi)
M: S Pendlebury (V-Capt, Toronto), J McVeigh (London), T Boak (Dublin), D Jackson (Berlin)
R: Jarryd Roughead (Sao Paulo)
F: T Rockliff (Pacific), S Johnson (Buenos Aires), J Winderlich (London), C Mayne (London)
I: C Judd (Tokyo), I Smith (Wellington)
Coach: Ringo (London)
