Toga

Sammy Mayes!! 8)

Hopefully we'll get a few more on the board, Benny Kennedy looked good last week!

my backline is my weakness this year however the list of ex dublin defenders is amazing. Definately shouldnt have traded out some of these guys and put too much faith in my youth.

Ellis
Malceski
Burgoyne
Thompson

I keep seeing being named in the team of the week, very depresing.

The barlow to watts move was a socher, not only did i lose one of the best Scers in the comp I was too confident in my backline and traded out Thompson one of the best defenders in the comp.

Rising Star

Vic Metro ruckman Tom Nicholls has not yet made his WXV debut, but takes away the rep round nomination with a solid 76. Perhaps the Pacific Islanders will take notice?

How was Rouhgy not selected in any of the teams? :o

I swear Boyd was named for Vic Country. ??? I thought I saw him in the emergencies Toga gave me. I changed it when Travis Boak said to be out. Ah well, not that it matters. :P

But yeah, should have listened to Toges, he predicted Roughy to go huge...

Oh flower me. The preference order in which the emergencies were named. ::) There was also roughly a 90 point differences between McEvoy's and Roughy's scores and roughly 70 points difference between Golby's and Boyd's score which would have got us over the line and got both Roughy and Boyd TOTW honours. :'(

Hunter will get it soon, problem is my midfield and utility is pretty good at the moment.

Clarke and JOM are doing too good to push them off the utility bench.

Rising Star

R12: Michael Talia (Beijing) - 77

Beijing's 5th Rising Star is someone they didn't know they had on the team :P lol

Team of the Week

Round 12
D: J Watts (Dublin), R Murphy (Moscow), S Butler (Toronto), J Carlisle (Tokyo)
M: T Liberatore (Capt, New York), D Prestia (V-Capt, New York), R Griffen (Moscow), P Dangerfield (Seoul)
R: W Minson (Sao Paulo)
F: D Petrie (Buenos Aires), C Bird (Cape Town), K Tippett (Tokyo), A Christensen (New York)
I: R Bastinac (New Delhi), Brad Ebert (Mexico City)
Coach: Sid/pyronerd (New York)

That's a very strange looking team! Only Griffen and Dangerfield frequent fliers, and good to see someone else other than the big 3 getting the coaching gig!

Toga

Haha go Michael Talia! Was great to find out we own him lol ::) :P

Will probably become a regular now his coaches have become aware of his presence ;D

Nige

Might have to play Johannisen next week against Tokyo just to get him a rising star nomination. :P Dogs vs Melbourne, I like his chances.

Waited all season for this, was the reason I gave up barlow for him.

New coach who plays him propoerly and he goes 85 139(albiet against weak opposition). The test this week is agasint sydney 75+ and im happy.

Also Hunter subbed, thats annoying he will probably pick up a nomiantion some time soon.
