Trade or Hold

Trade Danger and Armstrong for Moloney and Gibbs
Hold and save 2 trades

I had Gibbs and Moloney locked until Thursday, but had to cut them along with Longer.

I replaced them with Buddy, Wines, and Smith.

In hindsight it appears to be a bad move, but wanted to get Buddy and Smith instead of Longer.

Gibbs is still part of the long term plan for me.  Moloney looks to still be of good value, but not sure if he will be a keeper or not.  Danger if he doesnt score well again could be picked up at a later date at a cheaper price.   He does however play port and bulldogs in R3 and R4, so there is a risk of him going big on those games.

Armstrong the sub yesterday which wasn't ideal, but I cant stay home all day to make sure one of my players doesn't get the green vest.

If Gibbs and Moloney both perform well, should I cut Danger and Armstrong with these 2 corrective trades?

Don't trade Danger, never trade keepers. Thats the main point haha.

Yeah very good point shorty and I totally agree with what you are saying.

I never trade keepers unless there is some potential upside to the move.  In this case it would be to get Gibbs and have I missed a trick by cutting Moloney.  The move of bringing moloney back is on the basis of him being a good long term pick, and also the view to perhaps getting Danger at say $550k, but that depend on how he scores this week.

But essentially I agree with your statement shorty about keeping the guns in your side and trading the cash cows.

Happy to hear peoples comments about all four players, so keep the comments coming.  Cheers

You traded out Gibbs?  :o
ouch!
Ouch indeed whichie.

Not one that I wanted to get rid of, but someone had to make way for buddy.  Was tinkering with the team on thursday and before I knew it, the players were running out and I couldn't get back to the computer on time.

It was tough watching him dominate on thursday night.
